James was awesome. I have two now from him and will only be going to him even though I have several other tattoos James was the easiest to communicate with what I wanted and we designed my cover up together and I can’t even tell there was anything under it! He is professional and polite. The studio is clean and comfortable. I highly recommend! He also did my dads thumbprint and handwriting one which is perfect! I had an old thumbprint on a faded ID card from 1969 and James nailed it! I posted the footprints as that’s the ones he covered up with a stargazer Lilly which was my wedding bouquet flower. He made sure I was happy 100% and I am! I love them! Thank you for your patience deciding the cover up one!

This tattoo means a lot to me and he executed it perfectly. His line work is outstanding, and he has a very comfortable work place. Definitely getting the rest of my tattoos done here. Highly recommend!!

i’ve gotten 8 tattoos from James now and i absolutely love every one. he’s very respectful and professional. James is the only tattoo artist i go to now, and i recommend him to all of my friends and family. i can’t wait to go back for more. 10/10

James was great! Super nice guy who you can easily have a conversation with and listens to exactly what you want your design to look like. Very professional and can get you in way faster than any other shops around here. Very happy with how it turned out and I’d definitely recommend to a friend

I was very excited with the planning process of the tattoo I was going to have done. I paid a deposit and communicated with the artist a few times around having to wait a few months to get the work done because of surgery. When I was able to schedule I reached out VARIOUS times with no response and when I tried another time I was blocked and he kept my deposit without doing the work.

Called and he was able to get in me in right away. James was very professional and the studio was spotless! Easy to get along with and an amazing artist. My go to for all future tattoos.

He seemed nice at first, but he was flirty and did awful on the stem of such a easy tattoo compared to the rest of his work. He tattooed red on the out side of the cherry, some spots have scars from being over shaded. He was way to open about his addiction to cranium, or what ever that over the counter stuff is. I have no problem to people opening up to me but when I'm getting a tattoo I expect a professional atmosphere. Plus smoked a joint right before my tattoo. Not to mention he used his mouth to tare the last little piece of wrap off the roll and put it on. It wasn't placed right so the ink sack leaked on my clothes so he had me come up to his apartment the next day to rewrap it. Sorta odd experience all around.

Where do I begin? James Keys asked if I had anything we could smoke before tattooing. Never asked for ID. He was evicted from the RRN building studio for smoking and basically living there. Tattooed out of an attic of a duplex. Went way too deep in the skin. Also has taken and tattooed designs from other artists.

Does NOT have piercing licensing and does NOT have tattoo licensing. He does not have one in any of the states. He does horrible work and works out of his apartment he’s being evicted out of for beating women. Do not go to this man, James Keys is disgusting.

Called the shop about getting a new tattoo, gentlemen i spoke with (the owner i think) was very professional and helpful! We were able to set up something and i love my tattoo! Great service, very clean, and attentive to detail. Will be going back to many more!!
