This place is 5 stars in every sense possible. The shop is super clean, welcoming, well-lit, and comfortable. Cody is an amazing artist. Twice so far I've come to him with a general idea of what I wanted, he did a design that blew me away, and executed expertly. Even the experience in the chair is top notch. If you're a tattoo enthusiast in Southwest Michigan and aren't getting your work done at Daybreak, please accept my sincerest condolences.

I have been working on a Naruto sleeve with Dylan over the past couple of months. I am extremely happy with how it has turned out so far and can’t wait to finish it up. I would highly recommend Dylan to anyone interested in cartoon/anime tattoos. He is easy to talk to and frequently checks in during the tattooing process to offer breaks if needed. The aftercare process has also been great with the aftercare instructions provided.

Got a tattoo by Cody here a while ago and it turned out awesome, I get lots of compliments on it. Also had one done by Nickole a few months ago, turned out great. Cody does great work!
Got a tattoo done by Nickole recently and made my appointment 2 weeks in advance. She sketched the tattoo 15 minutes prior to the session even tho I checked in a couple days before my appointment to see what she had come up with, if anything. When I made suggestions, in person, about size or anything different it felt like I was being a difficult customer when in reality I just wanted to collaborate a little bit and make it perfect. I was in a good mood and I decided to get the tattoo based on her first sketch anyway and actually feel a little disappointed with how it turned out. I should have been a little more assertive about what I wanted but customer service was lacking. Make sure you get what you want!

Way to expensive for a teeny tiny tattoo that I would’ve paid to go bigger. Go some where else! Better shops better value with friendly artists else where. Other shops will actually give you a 100$ tattoo that’s actually worth 100$ and other shops actually will act like they want your money. I’ve got 4 other tattoos from 4 other places and definitely received my value at all 4 with extremely friendly artist. Find an artists who actually cares this guy Nic here doesn’t. Guess I should’ve went back to Vivid INK in Lansing lesson learned I’m coming back Vivid I know you want my money!

I love the artists here. Nick has done 2 of my tattoos and I couldn’t be happier. One of my tattoos was fully custom and a memorial for my brother who had passed. I won’t go anywhere else.
