It was my first tattoo and was overall a great experience. I'm super happy with the outcome.

Cal, Nick & Zane have been awesome! Zane has done the majority of my tattoos and my husband’s as well and they are ALL incredibly well done-after years they still look amazing and each tattoo fits our styles’ perfectly. Zane is a true artist who we trust completely to turn our ideas into reality. We recommend this place to everyone we know and will always come to Phoenix Rising for all future tattoos.

I absolutely love my tattoo that I got from Cal last year. It means so much to me that he was able to take my draft drawing and make it real. Plus side it was also my moms birthday and Nick did an AMAZING job on her first tattoo as well! Highly recommend to everyone wanting to get work done. Will be going back for another once I can get my mom convinced she as well needs another one!

My wife and I had Cal do work on us. 3rd time for my wife. This time she got a 9/11 memorial, which she absolutely loves, as do I. It was my second time in the shop..but first tat. Cal did a memorial for my son on my back. I really love it..we'll both definitely will be back to have Cal do more work on us! Thank you very much Cal! 😊

I have gotten all my piercings from (Zane) at Phoenix rising tattoo and they are very clean and very nice and take their time! I would definitely go back if I were to get anymore ! I also am waiting to get my tattoo on my back covered up that I had done somewhere else and it looks aweful! I went into phoenix rising tattoo and I believe Calvin drew up a beautiful picture of what I wanted originally to go over the tattoo I have on my back and it is going to look amazing once I get it done! I can’t wait just waiting to save up the money!! I have went in there with my friends and watched them get their tattoos and they came out amazing 😉 they are very clean, they always made sure she was comfortable they told her how to take care of it so it would heal well and everything ! I would definitely go there to get any of my tattoos or piercings and would definitely recommend them to anyone!!!

Awesome place!!!! My son was home on leave from the military and only had limited time for a tattoo!!! When we called the entire staff was awesome and made time to get my son in!!! They made his first tattoo experience a great one!!!! He was even told that if he needed a touch up the next time he came home was just to call!!!!! Even though it would be past the year mark!!! Now just waiting for him to come home on leave again so we can come together and I can get the military mom tattoo I want!!! Outstanding!!!!!!

Amazing artists! Been going there for years and based on quality, personality, and skill, these guys are fantastic! I feel very welcomed everytime I'm there, not at all like your typical tattoo shop where everyone is an *******..

I couldn’t truly write a recommendation that is good enough to describe how my experiences have been at this shop. I got my first tattoo here a couple years back; they were kind and helpful and understanding that I hadn’t gotten any body modifications before. Nick was funny and helped me relax while getting the tat done. Everything was done with clean instruments, in a clean environment. Last year, I came to Zane with an abstract idea for a tattoo. He designed the tattoo of my dreams and executed it perfectly. A few months later, Zane gave me an amazing deal on two tattoos. Their new shop is beautiful, with artwork to look at everywhere you turn. My younger siblings even came along and the artists were fine with a couple kids hangin’ around.
So, I’m at 4 tattoos and counting (hopefully more to come soon!) Overall, I’d recommend this shop to any and everyone. The staff is great, the building is nice, and the whole experience will be wonderful for first timers and tattoo veterans alike.

Love Cal and his crew! Not only is Cal an awesome guy inside the shop, he's a wonderful dad and guy outside! My last tattoo Zane did and I absolutely love and he even fixed my wrist tattoo the same day for free!! Can't wait to go in and get another one!

I started going to Phoenix Rising last year, I have gotten to know the whole staff and they are Amazing. I regularly go to see Zane, I love the work he does. ALOT of tattoo artists at times fudge a line and then hide it with shading, not Zane . Zane is super precise and takes pride in his work! I have recommended Zane to many people who have also ended up having him work on them and love what he does! Cal (the owner) has also done a tattoo on my wife and it looks AWESOME! The staff is always friendly and welcoming, and they are VERY clean!
