Recently had JP do some cover up work as well as touch up another tattoo that was ruined from surgery. He was awesome to work with. Took the time to listen to what I wanted, offered suggestions and made sure I was completely satisfied with what I was getting. He made me feel comfortable through the entire process. After an amazing amount of research, I found JJ several years ago. By far one of the most talented tattoo artists around. One look at his work, and you will see for yourself. Started my third piece with him today, and it’s exactly what I was looking to create. Watchtower Tattoo Company is clean, professional and makes sure every client is taken care of like you’re family. Major Kudos to JJ and Chelsea! With how well they take care of their customers, this shop will be a staple tattoo parlor in the Metro Detroit area for years to come. Even when playing with my wedding photos, one of the things I focus on is the amazing work JJ did on me. I couldn’t be happier and can’t imagine anyone else painting artwork on my skin.

Watchtower is a clean, friendly, and professional establishment. From the moment you walk in, fully tatted or blank canvas, you get treated like client #1 by the artists and the staff. Watchtower will only represent the best of artists. Ive previously had many hours with 2 other “big name” local artists and then found JJ. He is just pure talent and passion. He can do anything from cartoonish to the most realistic art. He will listen to your ideas and offer some guidance if your looking for some. He makes the sit easy and time fly by. I really could not express how great and full of talent this place is.

It took me a long time to find a tattoo parlor that could provide the level of quality that I demanded. Watchtower not only met those expectations but has also become the only place I will go to for any future work. The cleanliness is kept at a very high standard, the staff are all very friendly, and you’ll be hard pressed to find an artist that does better work than JJ. If you want high quality work then this is the place for you. Anyone that gives Watchtower less than a 5 star rating is delusional.

JJ gave me my first tattoo. I may not ever go to another artist. From getting the sketch drawn up, to the work itself, JJ is legit as it gets. He is booked to the max and his schedule gets filled far in advance, so schedule early! Everytime he opens his books to schedule another month, he'll be fully booked within the same day. This man is talented!!!!

This review has nothing to do with a bad tattoo as I am a fan of Josiahs work, but with how they organize their bookings. I was told in order to book a tattoo with Josiah that I was required to go to a consultation appointment. I did over 2 months ago and my idea was accepted. For the past 3 weeks they were saying that his books open today and to call today at some point to book. They made no sense of urgency that it would be completely booked immediately and within 2 hours he was completely booked until next summer. They said that they accepted email requests that came in far before their opening time this morning. I would expect if you took the time going to a consultation that you would get some sort of preference over someone who just sent an email in. That being said I am upset i wasted my time going in for a consultation as I dont think anyone wants to wait 8 months to be tattooed as the future is very very uncertain and things tend to change in almost a years time. I will be taking my business elsewhere.
