I have wanted to get a tattoo in memory of my mom for 12 years but couldn't find the right person to so it until my husband found Daniel at Ocean Blue in Bloomington. The care that he took in putting together the design and how beautifully it turned out was beyond my expectations. The water color detail and the lightness make this special piece truly one of a kind and I'm proud to carry Daniel's art with me.

Daniel does a great job of portraits! However, there are small details that I feel could have been done a little bit better… Overall, I do recommend him, and I will post a photo of my boyfriends portraits done by him with the original pictures right next to it. So you all can see for yourself.

I just finished my half sleeve/forearm floral piece with ashton tonight. He's super talented, and you can tell he enjoys what he's doing. He does a great job and ensures that you're happy. He's also super chill to hang out with while the tattoo is being done, and it was a comfortable experience. He listens to what you want along with suggesting what will look good and turn out best for your tattoo. I recommend him for sure! I have my next 2 appointments set with him already.

Daniel is the best watercolor artist I've found. I brought him some ideas and he was able to create a unique, stunning piece for me. The price was good and the sessions endurable. He's very sensitive to your comfort level and allows breaks etc when needed. I will definitely be back to Ocean Blue Tattoo soon!

Everything about the shop was great! Super clean, good music, all the guys were very nice and welcoming. Tenzin did my tattoo in a stippling style, and it looks gorgeous. Highly highly recommend!

Ocean Blue tattoo does really great high quality work. Daniel Natural is able to take any idea to the next level and the work I saw from every other tattoo artist in the shop was top notch. I wanted a watercolor Phoenix with geometric elements and Daniel did an exceptional job from consultation all the way through my final session. Amazing vivid colors, clean lines, and creative design elements to give me by far my favorite tattoo. 11/10 would definitely recommend this shop for any type of project or idea.

Sat for about 5 hours on Saturday with Anthony and I have to say, he’s awesome! His attention to detail and ensuring you get the tattoo you want makes him the perfect artist. He was patient and walked me through the process from start to finish with ease. Even when it hurt like hell and I wanted to give up, he maintained a positive attitude and never let me give up. It was also very cool to see his design skills and the finished product looks great. He’s definitely my go to tattoo artist in the twin cities.
