Was looking around for a shop that does good work, for a good price. Checked a few shops to consult with them. I went to Stay Tru, and right as I open the door, not even one foot in the door, Dave was Immediately friendly and welcoming. Never had someone who gave great cilent service. We discussed tattoo ideas and was more than patient with me while I looked for an artist. Jeremy, the artist I chose was great. Gave him an idea and made an appointment. Showed up to the appointment, showed me what he had come up with and it was more detailed and better than I had in my head. He does great work, and love that he can come up with great things. Definitely a great place to go!

The place is clean, the artists are great at what they do, and they have great personalities. They are all about the customer and making a great product. I wish I could just sit there and hang out with the artists all day, some great conversations made the experience enjoyable. Dave did my work. I would 100% refer Dave, and Stay Tru in general.

If you want an amazing Tattoo, go see Dave Mikkelson! I spent about 5 hours with Dave today fixing a tattoo that is 18 years old, covering another tattoo, and adding a number of small tattoos up my leg. They are NOT finished but I am absolutely amazed at the details and coloring so far! Dave has 20 years specializing in this field and his talent is undeniable! He is quick witted, funny, and strives to make your experience a good one.
Plan your visit in advance! It is rare they aren't booked and with these skills, I am sure you can understand why!
If you are looking for an amazing tattoo, this is the place you need to go! Ask for Dave and you won't be disappointed!!!!

Me and my husband we're visiting the area on a 1yr/honeymoon/anniversary trip this past weekend from Kansas City. It was a spur of the moment thing but we got matching tattoos here and we loved the shop!! They fit us in without an appointment, reasonable prices and we really enjoyed Dave, he was great!! We stumbled into Stay Tru Tattoo and within 15 minutes, Rob Klein had our idea printed up exactly how we wanted. Not only was he fast and easy to work with, he fit us both in for the tattoo right then and there. Highly recommend this shop. It was a great experience and I will definitely be going back!
