I've gotten a handful of tattoos and piercings here and I have no complaints. They have a tight family/friend atmosphere and are super laid back and easy to talk to about what you want done. The girl that tried to fix my belly button piercing was very personable and remembered to check in with me the next time I saw her. The artists are good at talking to you through the process and will make sure you're okay and be flexible with what you want done and help make suggestions to make your tattoo to best for you.

I believe my artist's name was Phil. He did an amazing job with my flower tattoo! I will for sure be in contact in the near future for him to hopefully do my next tattoo! if youre an 18 year old girl, with unlimited time, that likes to be told what tattoo to get and where you want it, then this place is perfect for you. if youre a person with very limited time and cant afford unreliable, dishonest service then i recommend you look elsewhere.
i drove there for the consultation and scheduled an appointment 3 days prior and was specifically told, you would do the 3 tattoos i asked for and the piercings i wanted. i drove there twice from cloquet on my very rare days off. completely wasted my time

Emma, the piercer, has don't my nostril and my septum. She walks me through it, let me express my anxiety, then is just all around the sweetest! Her prices are beyond reasonable and she is the only piercer I will go to. Thank you for everything, Emma!

Jason did an amazing job on my tattoo. He was honest and professional and was patient with me when i was nervous due to it being my first tattoo. he gave me tons of tips on how to take care of it during the healing process, would definitely recommend. Pricing was also very reasonable.

I went back to Gitchee Gumee yesterday for a quick touch up of a tattoo I got done last month. After it healed I saw a few areas I wanted a little more detail. They worked with my schedule and got me in when it was convenient for me. Well worth the 4 hour drive and I'll definitely be back! I appreciate them listening to what I wanted and desire to make sure I was satisfied with my tattoo. Everyone is so friendly and nice. Jason rocks!
