I came in as a walk in for my first tattoo. The artist was friendly, and very easy to work with. My tattoo healed perfectly and I'm happy with the results. Would go again.

Started very elaborate tattoo covering a quarter of my body with Ian Sheriff. It was a tribal design, but I was very clear from the beginning I did not want a flat mat black, but a 3d design to which I sent many examples.
It seems there really was no plan ahead in his design despite his assurances. His attempt to "wing" the 3d design after he tattooed the outline was, not good.
When I showed him the same ideas I had originally, he said, "well, maybe you should find someone who does that kind of work."
This is the first time I had learned maybe he doesn't do this kind of work?
Definitely info I would have liked to know before he was halfway done.
