Got my first tattoo here and can honestly say the experience was the best tattoo experience I’ve ever had. (lmao sorry, I had to 😅😂) Honestly though, the atmosphere here was super chill, everything was clean, the whole process was quite seamless. I was more than a little nervous to get a five hour tattoo session as my first, but everyone there made me feel very comfortable, answered all my questions, and thoroughly explained the after-care process. 10/10 would recommend!!

I’ve gotten both of my tattoos here. My first one was with Amy. She was amazing. Made me feel comfortable and welcome. She knew it was my first tattoo and was extremely helpful with aftercare process. My second tattoo was with Josh. Josh was fun and easy to talk to. He gave suggestions with the placement of my tattoo, which I wasn’t sure which placement would look best. Left the shop wanting to get more from Josh and Amy. Very happy with my ink

Came here for my first tattoo. Made an appointment on Monday, got in that same week on Thursday. My tattoo was done by Sam McMahon, who did an amazing job! The shop has a very clean environment, and I never felt uncomfortable aside from just my personal first-tattoo awkwardness. Great place!

Charlie Mendez does amazing work! So very happy with my beautiful tattoo! Shop has great atmosphere, everyone is so friendly. He did single needle detailing to the flower petals, made it look amazing. Will definitely go back!

I had a consultation with Nick, drove from Duluth to dinky town tattoo. Pay for parking only to walk in and be told he went home with a sick child. No issue with the sick child part, but no communication no nothing. I was told I would receive a phone call from this artist, never received that phone call. Oh would ya look at that someone else posted the same review 6 days before mine, sounds like the same thing that happened to me. Thanks Nick, good job! WASTE OF TIME!

ONLY reason I didn't give 5 stars (I would do 4.5 if possible) was I was given no written instructions on how to care for my tattoo, only verbal instructions. I don't have a lot of experience with getting tattooed so I didn't know it's standard to get written instructions on how to care for it until my roommate pointed out that it was weird I didn't since she has plenty of tats and says she ALWAYS gets one. But the people that work here are great and the environment is inviting (unlike some tattoo shops) so if it weren't for that one little critique, I would easily give them 5/5. The last shop I went to (Black Coffin)the person that tattooed me was annoyed that I was nervous and a little shaky bc it was my first tattoo. Although at Dinky, Mike is super kind and understanding for people like me that get a little anxious since I only have 1 other tattoo. He talked me through it and was super sweet and encouraging for the nervous souls like me out there! His line work is great as well and he really makes you feel at ease. I would give him 5/5 and would definitely get another by him!
