Swing by their new location on 14th and 4th in the basement on Friday. I brought my mom with me who'd never been inside a tattoo shop before. The staff was all friendly and welcoming, the art that literally covered all the walls was unique and incredibly done. I got a tattoo from Amy who was a blast. Played great tunes, and answered all of my mom's questions. Highly recommended!

Really great workers!! Super nice staff, good clean and reliable work. A little expensive but worth it. They stand by their work and do free touch ups. Clearly experienced artists. This is my second tattoo and favorite experiencs!

Got my very first tattoo on my 18th birthday! I was so nervous because I decided to get it on my ankle and I was scared it was going to hurt a ton. Brooke made me feel so comfortable and it didn't hurt that bad. She spent time to make sure it was exactly what I wanted until she got it perfect. Very happy with my tattoo, a beautiful script and a cute little turtle!

I highly recommend Dinkytown Tattoo! I got my first tattoo done here about a month ago and it turned out beautifully. I went in a couple times before deciding to come here and all of the artists were polite and helpful. They answered all of my idiotic questions with patience and sincere kindness. When I finally decided to get my piece here, I sent in a couple images and asked them to put them together into design. Daniel did my work, and I fell in love with it at first sketch. There were just a few little sizing adjustments to be made, which he did without question. Daniel came in on his day off to fit my schedule and was amazing during the process. I was a little apprehensive since it was my first piece, but he made me very comfortable and calm. He was good about letting me have breaks when I needed them. I had a piece that took up about half of my upper back, took almost two hours, cost me $160. I left a $20 tip because it was so wonderful. (I would have left more, but I'm a broke undergrad.) The tattoo was almost completely healed in about a week and had no complications. Touch-ups are complimentary, and I just needed a little definition on a couple lines in my piece. All in all, a top rate performance. I would highly recommend the service here. Not just Daniel, but all of the staff. (I interacted with most of them.) Definitely five stars.

Josh is a great tattoo artist, he is a good listener and gives you want you want. He is great and helping develop design ideas. Parking for this shop is not ideal , give yourself extra 10 minutes to find parking.

I have had three tats done by these guys, my brother, my mom has one. They are the BEST around!!! Very professional, sanitary and friendly! I want more tats and will be going back to this place for them. I highly recommend them!

Ian did a phenomenal job with my tattoo. He somehow knew exactly what I wanted and got me in super quick too! The facility is nice, clean and quiet. Lots of parking available on the street and in a garage around the block. Can’t wait for my next piece!
