Pretty excited to add this to the body art collection. RocketUp Tattoo in Sartell was kind enough to take me as a walk in on Monday and I’m so grateful for Brian and his awesome work and customer care. Pricing was perfect and the shop was clean and there was great company- everyone was super easy to talk to. Call before to see if they can take you, I got lucky with my walk in but it sounds like that will be more available in the near future!
It’s tough to see from the angle- but it is a duck with a propeller under it, with the words “Yendor Noslo” in my grandpas handwriting. The significance? Many knew my grandpa as a kind, humble and modest man. The lucky knew his silly side. He was a proud Norwegian who would often joke that his Norwegian name was Yendor Noslo (Rodney Olson spelt backwards). He would tell me this in his best Norwegian accent and then proceed to ask me all of life’s big questions. One that really had him stumped was just how did the ducks move in the water? Surely there must be a propeller we cannot see that moves them. And do they need gasoline? Do they fill up at Bayside Market before they visit us at 2925? I’ll forever miss that special guy- so grateful to have a small piece of him that I can carry with me always to make me smile ❤️

Adrian has outstanding bedside manner and was so easy to communicate with during the entire process. He took a dream and made it reality with his lettering. 10/10 would recommend for your first tattoo or even if you’re a veteran. 100% will be back for more work. Also, shoutout to Justin for always being so flexible with scheduling and booking!
