"Black Velvet Tattoos is now taking walk-ins in our studio. Jason is booked on larger pieces out about 2-3weeks but can totally get small and medium pieces in pretty quick. Austin is available for walk-ins or appointments or piercings. Thomas our apprentice is taking appointments for small tattoos so he can get more experience. They are offered at a discounted rate and will be small pieces. So give us a call and let us create that next great piece."

Im from out of town and Was able to walk in on a Friday afternoon and walk out roughly an hour later with what's now one of my favorite tattoos! The owner was super helpful and the vibe of the shop was nice. The work was phenomenal! Would definitely stop back in again if ever passing through. 10/10 would definitely recommend!

Have had a deposit down for over a year and have still yet to get a drawing or ink. None of the messages I left apparently went unanswered or they just didn't bother to call me back. I have to say if I owned ANY type of buisness I would stay in touch with my customers, I understand Jason broke his foot or leg, but in all actuality that shoulda given him more time to let customers his situation and also let them know that he hasn't forgotten them. As far as his work, well all he has done for me n my fiance was his name on inside of my wrist (it's my fiance's signature and he got my lips(as in my lips💋 tattooed on his neck). Mine turned out ok my fiance's we aren't n really never were happy with the final product after swelling went down. At this point I think I'm just going to get a refund and probably find another artist. Was excited to start a relationship with a tattoo artist, and let them get to know me and mine and my personality to give me ideas and discuss things I have in mind as I am wanting to start working on a sleeve..wish I could give 5 stars and say great things, but my experience has been nothing short of me being nonexistent and its very frustrating and disappointing.

Great guys, excellent attention to cleanliness. Austin and I were laughing and joking the entire time. The work he did on my arm was bold and impactful. Already have plans to continue filling out my sleeve. Can't wait.

I have had Jason perform 2 tattoos on me so far, one of which was a coverup, he has exceeded my expectations both times. We’re working on a sleeve in sessions and I am incredibly impressed! Looking forward to more sessions! Highly recommend!!

Black velvet did an amazing job on my tattoo. The store was very clean and they were very sanitized. The guy who did my tattoo was Austin, and he was really funny and nice. The pricing is very reasonable. Cheaper than most places I have asked. Will be coming back for my second tattoo.
