Diablo Ink Tattoos

My husband has been getting tattooed by Aaron for at least ten years now. Every time he gets a new one, it's just as impeccable as the first one. When I saw his most recent tattoo, I decided I wanted one. Aaron recently did my tattoo. It is fan-freaking-tastic! So much color and detail! It's exactly how I pictured it. The tattoo I chose is feminine in every way, my husband's of course are not. I love my tattoo and am very happy with not only that but the service I received every time I visited the shop. Thank you Aaron for my fabulous piece of art😊

I have gotten three tattoos here and the only reason I havent gotten more is that I moved away from St Louis. They do fantastic work and I recommend them to all of my friends in the St Louis area.

After moving I have gotten some new work done at a local shop where I live now, but I just recently booked an appointment to get more work done at Diablo Ink over the holidays when I came back to visit with friends and family. By far they are still my favorite shop, and do great work!

After much research and visiting multiple tattoo shops in Jefferson County and the St. Louis area, (I was willing to travel for a good tattoo. I figured it was well worth my extra time to find the right place) a couple of friends told me to check out Diablo Ink and as luck would have it I certainly saved the best for last when it came to the right shop! I originally came in to get a cover-up. Cat took the time to talk to me about it where other shops turned up their noses and acted like I wasn't worth their time! Well, remember that scene in Pretty woman when Julia Roberts comes back to the clothing store...

Shop assistant: Hello, can I help you?
Vivian: I was in here yesterday, you wouldn't wait on me.
Shop assistant: Oh.
Vivian: You people work on commission, right?
Shop assistant: Yeah.
Vivian: Big mistake. Big. Huge. I have to go shopping now.

Well, Diablo Ink has a forever customer in me and my family! Not only did Cat do an AMAZING cover up, she helped me with a memorial tattoo for my son who passed away. Her sketch made me cry and the tattoo is beautiful!! I get stopped constantly with people asking to see my tattoos and they want to know where I got them done!! Cat has hand drawn all of my tattoos they are all original works of art! I have a large piece that extends across my chest my shoulder and upper arm. We are currently working on a large piece that extends from the top of my foot to my knee. Can't wait to start the next project!! I have also witnessed the amazing work that Aaron does as well. They are both true artists!
Diablo ink is a NO BS shop! Aaron and Cat will tell you the truth and they won't tattoo something that will look bad. They will help you to make the right decision and get what's going to look the best! Last but certainly not least, they are by far the cleanest shop I have ever set foot into! I highly recommend!!

Outstanding work done by excellent artists. Had a sleeve done with just a general description/idea for what I wanted, and the end result exceeded my expectations that were already pretty high. Cleanliness and professionalism are second to none. I constantly get compliments on the content and quality of the work, and asked where I had it done. 10/10

My husband has two very nice tattoos done by Cat. He's working on a sleeve and started with a beautiful "chicken" . That's what Cat calls it but it's actually a phoenix. She drew it up heerself and is a wonderful artist. The shop is very clean and they are very friendly. My husband and I will always get our tattoos done here and nowhere else.

They were running a deal where you spend 100 bucks on a gift card an you get 25 for free. I dropped 400 bucks and set up an appointment a few months later. I took 2-3 trips up there which is a 30min or better drive. He told me to email him my ideas so I did. His first response was that the picks aren't printable. So I looked up the pictures again on my computer and resent them in a file I knew would print. His second reply was they're too small and once you blow them up they are pixelated. I told him I don't know what else to do other than come up there. An his very last reply was, "just come up tomorrow and I'll refund you the money back". For someone who brags about his work and being better than other artist I sure don't see the professionalism. I am very displeased with his attitude. I waited 3 years to get this next tattoo started and it took 3 emails for him to give up and lose business. Like the other comments on here...if you're not willing to budge on your feelings and opinion of a tattoo don't come here. Poor professionalism.

It's been many years since I've gotten a tattoo, but this is the shop I would recommend. I've been dealing with Aaron since 2003 at Diablo Ink (previously St. Louis Ink Box). He's always been professional and helped build the skills of other top talent that have gone on to do their own thing.

I've got a sleeve from Kat and i love it. always feel comfortable everytime i get tattooed here. its like sitting at home getting tats. watching movies and the sound of a tattoo gun is pretty peaceful
