Most shops u walk into have an uncomfortable feeling but midtown makes u feel right at home! The nicest people I’ve met are at midtown tattoos. Never a disappointment coming here and never leave unsatisfied! I would recommend this shop over any tattoo parlor in the state.

My artist was very very talented and my tattoo looks beautiful. However, I cannot give this place a 5 star rating for a few reasons. The first one being there was a crackhead cleaning their windows and disturbing customers. Not sure if he worked for them or not for cleaning services but it’s obvious a man that high should not be near the workplace. Makes it seem unprofessional. My other reason being is the customer service here isn’t great. I understand not copying another tattoo (the reference picture I showed). But my artist tried to convince me to change my tattoo COMPLETELY. I showed him a picture of a beautiful drawing with 5 flowers on it, many leaves, and multiple stems. He brought me back a very very simple tattoo with one stem and two plain flowers on it and tried to convince me to get that one as well. I declined because I obviously did not want one that wasn’t as detailed. I think that he should’ve listened to me more instead of pushing his opinion of my tattoo on me. He also tried to convince me to change where I placed it as well. I completely understand bringing in your professional opinion and i’m glad he shot out his ideas but i did NOT like the way it was put towards me. Instead of suggestions, he sounded very very pushy. At first I was planning on rating this place 2 stars because I was so upset. With all that said, once I got back there with my artist and we finally agreed on a good sketch. He definitely won me over! He gave me great advice about starting up my sleeve and what all I should do with my next tattoos. I appreciate it a lot. I most likely will return. I just hope the attitude towards customers could improve. Again, there’s a difference between giving your professional opinions and completely arguing with me about what I want to do to MY body.
But I do recommend this place for the talent they all have. My friends and I tattoos look great!

This was my 12th tattoo and I went to Midtown because I had heard good things. Not only was my tattoo done poorly or due to the artist going too deep and causing scabbing, it is not a clean environment and I got mrsa staph infection. I have never had any other issues with my tattoos or my artist, and I’m super disappointed.

Called three different times today and was told the piercer would be there until 9pm. I arrived at 8:30 and they were closed even though I just talked to the shop at 7:30. Pretty annoyed I’m not getting my piercing.

Phenomenal and Professional service from the easy appointment setup and walk-in process, to a clean/organized environment, and KC's Finest, Award Winning, artists/piercers. My nieces of 13 y.o and 7 y.o both got their ears pierced. They had a great experience and didn't feel a thing! Full of honest, hardworking individuals, and the best ownerr!
