Michael Kemp did an exceptional job bringing to life a piece I've wanted for ages! The studio is super clean and inviting. Additionally, the consultation before hand was super informative and helpful. The results speak for itself and the pricing was super reasonable. I have gotten tattooed by Jerry and Michael multiple times since I was just shy of 18, and got my first two tattoos with my mom. I’m now almost 22 and I still go to them! I love their vibe, they’re such kind dudes and are good conversationalists, but also comfortable with silence when I’m concentrating on not moving from the pain.
I’ve had both shins, a thigh piece, a hip piece, an elbow ditch and a half sleeve completed by them (legs/hip by Michael and arms by Jerry). The linework is clean, sharp, and straight. Trust these guys! They’re professional artists and they work very well with you and what your idea is and they tattoo fast. Of all my shop experiences outside of this place, no one can compare to their professionalism, good energy, and collaborative nature.
I’m so happy every time I leave their shop and I try to recommend them to everyone I know who’s looking to get a tattoo. They are no longer at the location posted on the photos, they are now on Lone Pine next to the pottery place in a White House. Best way to contact them is through instagram or Facebook. They usually don’t take walk in’s and sometimes are booked for months out in advance. THEY’RE IN HIGH DEMAND BECAUSE THE ARTISTS HERE ARE AMAZING!!! If you’re looking for a shop for your next tattoo, this one has some of the best in Springfield AND for a good price. This place has never failed to make me feel welcome and to make sure I was okay! Micheal Kemp does an amazing job and has done both my tattoos. The prices are very reasonable and it's all around a great environment. 10/10 do recommend.
