My husband and I went in last Summer to get some new ink by Jeff Steffens and both tattoos turned out AMAZING. The shop is clear. The staff is nice and laid back they all make you feel comfortable. The prices aren’t bad. We both will be going back.

Was in town for the weekend and decided to get my first tattoo. These guys were extremely helpful and worked me into their busy schedule. They actually acted like they wanted to tattoo me and that is what made me 100% sure this was where I wanted to get my first tat. Tom Burton did a perfect job on it and I couldn't have been more pleased with how it turned out. I definitely recommend Self Inflicted Studios and plan on coming back again myself!

This tattoo shop is the best! One of a kind. All artist do amazing work. I have over 20 hrs tatt time there & I drive 3 hrs to get there, It's well worth it. Custom tattoos with real skilled artists. Top notch pros. If u want quality, this is the tattoo shop where you'll find it. No doubt #1.

Facility is very clean and staff is professional and friendly (especially considering I was a walk-in and they took me back right away). Had a small piece done by Jeffrey recently and he was knowledgeable and very easy to work with. Line work is smooth and precise and pricing was very fair. Will definitely be back for more extensive work.

We came here on Friday night with a group of girls after a conference. It was a great experience. The guys in the shop all made us feel welcome and even changed the music to something less metal (although I love metal, my coworker was not a huge fan).
Jeff and Panda are awesome. Jeff did the book and coffee cup blackwork on my arm and Panda did my friend's WP Coffee Talk logo and the coffee cup with lips.
It was quick, easy and the tattoos came out great. Highly recommended if you're looking for a place to get a tattoo in St. Louis.
