I’ve only ever been tattooed by Adriana, but everyone in this shop is an amazing artist with a super kind and judgement free vibe. Adriana’s work is incredible and very creative. The piercer is very sweet as well. The shop is always clean and professional!

Adriana did a phenomenal job! I had a vague idea of what I wanted and she was able to bring it to life. This tattoo was very close to home for me and I couldn’t have asked for more. She is very professional and caring and you can tell she takes her job seriously and wants to make her clients incredibly happy. I’ll definitely be going back for more!

Currently in the process of a full sleeve. This is the best tattoo shop I’ve been in. Everyone is so friendly and so helpful. The shop is immaculate. Adriana (@prettyvacantt) has been working on my Greek mythology sleeve, it is coming along beautifully. 💕 Best people Best Shop and bonus great food within walking distance. Parking is a breeze too. Making an appointment is well worth the wait for these guys!

Alex at Self Inflicted is the only piercer I will ever go to again!! I have had plenty of bad experiences when getting piercings until I went to Alex. He is very professional, he cares about his clients, and he is so passionate about what he does! He gives his honest opinions and great advice on how to take care of your piercings and what will and will not work for you specifically! When I was having issues with a piercing I received from another place, I messaged him on Instagram and he replied immediately, helping me figure out how to get rid of some serious irritation. I went back to Alex yesterday to get some new nose jewelry, and he was very honest and helpful about what would work for my nose! Plus, he changed my jewelry and made sure I was comfortable the whole time! Seriously, Alex is the only piercer I will ever go to again, he’s the best!!!!

I got a cover up tattoo by Adriana and let me just say.. wow! Not only did she complete everything I wanted in a tattoo she went above and beyond to make it perfect. Adriana did everything she could to make sure I was comfortable and she was just a very kind and phenomenal woman. The shop was extremely clean as well. The man that does piercing (I forgot his name I’m so sorry) was also amazing, both times I was in the shop he walked me out to my car to insure I was safe. I will always recommend this place and my artist. Can’t wait to come back!

I have gotten 11 tattoos by Adriana so far and I couldn’t be happier, years later and they all still look brand new, her patience and attention to detail are unmatched. I’ve only lived in STL for a few years, and I’ve spent a majority of that time trying to find a good artist. I recently came across Adriana, and I am beyond thankful that I did. She’s such a kind person, and an amazing artist, to say the least. I had 3 scars on my leg to cover up, and I was hesitant as to who I could trust to do so. I also wanted to find someone who made the entire process as comfortable as possible. I have spent the past 5 years hiding my leg and rarely wearing shorts because of my insecurity, but now I can confidently do so and feel “normal” again.

Self Inflicted Studios Downtown is the place to go. All the artists are friendly and their work is great! I highly recommend giving them a call!!!

I came from out of state on a business trip, knowing that I wanted a new piece. I found Adriana and the shop on Instagram weeks beforehand and instantly knew I wanted to have her tattoo me. Contacting the shop was quick and easy, and communication with Adriana was more than I expected. She really blew me away with her talent, and she will only be getting better. I’m so excited to see where her journey takes her. I’ve even considered for my next piece to make the trip again, specifically to see her.

Adriana did so amazing creating a beautiful tattoo exactly how I imagined it when I showed her my inspiration photo! Her attention to detail is immaculate, and she was so kind to work with and extremely professional. I highly recommend her and definitely plan to return to her for more!
