I was 21 when I got my first shop tattoo.
5 years later at 26 I decided it needed a recolor. I thought I might as well add something to give it a fresh look. I decided after past experience that I needed to find a real artist. I did my research and found the most Highly recommend shop in my area ❤Blood Brothers Ink❤
Most importantly I knew I didn't want a cheap tattoo. I wasn't going to settle with someone who charged me next to nothing for something that I was going to wear on a very visible area of my body FOREVER.
I made two trips to consulate and then waited a month for the first available appointment.
I could tell immediately that this place was different than other shops.
Who would have thought 6 years later at age 31 I'd have almost my entire right arm and a full length leg tattoo.
I learned about proper tattoo procedure in the last 5 years. Most importantly the value of artists who take pride in their work. People who treat it as an art form and don't just take a pattern off the wall and slap it on you for $100.
In the past 6 years I've spent many hours and many dollars.
I've never once regretted any of those hours....the pain or a single dollar I spent.
In fact I would have paid more.
I think it goes without saying that I get many many compliments daily about my art work. People stop to admire the attention to detail that clearly shows in their work.
My tattoos are a reflection of all the things I love in life and times in my life I wish to never forget.
