Coleton is everything you look for in a custom tattoo artist. In addition to being an incredibly talented artist, he's also very professional, takes pride in his work, and offers a very clean, private studio. He made me feel comfortable and confident throughout the entire process and took the time to answer any questions both me and my girlfriend threw his way. I would suggest anyone interested in getting some new work done to go to Aphotic. Best tattoo artist in butte!

I’m quite mind blown at all the good reviews on this place. My husband and I put in a deposit for tattoos and I ended up putting my deposit towards his tattoo. My husband showed up for his appt and it was nothing like they discussed. The tattoo drawing was okay, but it didn’t match any of the sleeve layout my husband asked for. The owner should have communicated beforehand to make sure he knew what he wanted not just guessing and making up his own drawing of what he thinks looks cool. He still kept my husbands deposit even though it was the owners error and my husband did not want the permanent work that isn’t what he asked for. Not to mention he wants you to sign a paper stating spasms, infection, etc, are normal and you need to see a doctor if it happens. Would not recommend this place to anyone just based off of the lack of communication skills and how unprofessional he is.

The whole shop was super clean. He did my first tattoo today, and it was such a great experience. He talked me through the whole thing and constantly made sure I was okay. I will be going back for my next one!

Coleton is an amazing, unique, diverse artist who creates one of a kind, non generic pieces for his clientele. Coleton has been studying the art of tattooing for years. This knowledge, combined with his insane talent, makes him one of the best tattoo artists out there. You definitely need some ink from this guy. ✌️🖤

Aphotic tattoos is a great place to get some tattoos done! Coleton has done nothing but make all of my tattoos come to life and makes me feel very comfortable the entire time that I am in his studio! A huge shout out to this amazing artist!
