My piercer's name starts with S and she was fantastic. I got my nose pierced and felt safe there. They gave me thorough care instructions and had high quality jewelry available. The piercing is healing well! I recommend this place for any new piercing. My friends have also gotten tattoos and piercings here and they have all turned out great. These people know what they're doing.

This was the nicest piercing/tattoo parlor I’ve ever been to! Really clean, kept up, and nothing looks run down. Brenda did an amazing job with my nose and ear piercing. I’m really sensitive to pain and she had me laughing and kept me distracted.

Altered Skin is an amazing establishment!! I came to Jay with nothing but a basic idea and he took my idea and transformed it into a masterpiece in memory of my father. Jay has done both of my tattoos and he was nothing short of awesome! My mother was so impressed with the work they did on me that she went in and had Detail Dave tattoo her. Everyone there is great!! They are very professional, gifted and extremely talented artists. They are fun, friendly and they take care of you. They work with you and help create something for you to cherish forever. I happen to know quite a few tattoo artists and people in the tattoo business. Altered Skin is the ONLY place I will ever go to get a tattoo and they are also the only place I EVER recommend. They are the BEST!!

Always Awesome customer service! Friendly and informative staff! I admit I was a bit intimidated the first time I set foot in the shop (as I am still new in the tattoo world). My artist was friendly and welcoming. He introduced himself and asked me what I was looking for, it was a thorough consultation. (and the tattoo didn't hurt as bad as I expected). I loved my tattoo so much I went back and got another one. If you want a tattoo and want it done by a great professional artist go see Jay Arellano! It's definitely worth the visit!
