It was nice talking to the guy that did my tattoo but I didn't get a very elaborate one... That being said the lines were not straight I'm not going to mention his name cuz I don't want to bust anybody out but be sure that your tattoo artist listens to exactly what you have to say and doesn't pressure you into feeling like it's your fault that the tattoo isn't straight!

I went in for a tattoo, and ended up talking with my artist the entire time I was there. He did a beautiful job on my tattoo, and the conversation was great. The atmosphere here was relaxed and I plan on visiting for another tattoo very soon.

I've been going to Altered Skin for more then 10 years now. The staff is entirely professional and nothing but extremely talented artists. My personal artist Jay Arellano has the bed side manner of a surgeon, and the talent of Da Vinci himself.
You can find "a" great feature or "a" good artist at any shop that try's, but a shop that insists that every feature is great and every artist is beyond good, is the business I choose to support. That place is Altered Skin Tattoo & Body Piercing.

Jay (tattoo artist) unprofessionally sent FB messages to me being extremely inappropriate and making racial remarks by calling me… (Black Madonna). Harassing
The Owner who I believe her name was Maria (short heavy girl) who I spoke to too do day; regarding my $50 deposit and which I wanted back due to the lack of professionalism of her tattoo artist Jay. In which I no longer felt comfortable with.
Maria, then rudely TOLD ME that my DEPOSIT WAS NON-REFUNDABLE. However I was never told this. This then proceeded into an extremely UNGLY conversion.
With the owner!! I no longer will be giving my business nor do I recommend this type of establishment who SEXUALLY HARASS, MAKEs RACIAL REMARKS, GETs IN TO SCREAMING MATCHES AND STEALs THEIR CLINTS MONEY.and I also reported them to the BBB because they should not be in Business if this is how they treat people.period.

The artist I got seemed insulted by how we wanted our tattoos placed and sized. Not impressed with that one but my wife got a different artist that was awesome! Friendly and had a sense of humor
