Needed to get my permanent earrings busted loose... Yes it was very much a waste of $$ for them to place the plastic ones in my ears they fell out in my sleep never found them . Almost lost my daith piercings because I switched I should have just left the metal ones in after they busted my hoops open :) thanks for that help it was much needed for my MRI, to get the medical attention I needed !

They gave a price estimate that was $25 under what it actually costs to get piercing, the lady that pierced my girlfriend also pulled on her ring way too much and made it bleed for over twice the amount of time it should've. They also didnt tell us that i couldnt accompany her or that we had to wear masks which made us late for our appointment due to have to go get masks. By far the worst experience.

Extremely helpful and quick service, tattoo appointments are scheduled out a few months in advance but that is to be expected. My piercings were scheduled for the week of and I am very happy with how they look

I have always gone to Painless Steel for my tattoos. They have been professional from the beginning, and their artists are the best. I have gotten numerous compliments on my tats. I always direct new and possible clients to them. My wife and a number of friends continue to go to Painless Steel.

Unfortunately these folks are some of the roughest piercers out there. I've had multiple piercings elsewhere (lobes, daith, conch) and have NEVER been in more pain or discomfort than I have after a piercing from Painless Steel in Missoula. In addition to this, I recently had them swap out some jewelry on a piercing of mine and the piercer put the jewelry in upside down AND did not sanitize the jewelry before putting it in. It is now extremely tender, painful and swollen not to mention infected. I would highly recommend going somewhere else if you want to get a piercing.

First of all, I have two complaints about Painless Steel here in Missoulab
1). A couple of the staff could loosen up a bit on the irritated attitude. Luckily by the end of my piercings yesterday everyone seemed a bit more friendly (though not as much as the website claims).
2). I called and asked about the price for snakebites and was quoted at $70 exactly, by the time it was all done and over with I ended up paying $120 and I feel like there were some added hidden charges which I feel is so wrong.
HOWEVER, the guy who did my snakebites was very professional. I was very pleased at how exact he was trying to make them even after suggesting something else because one side of my lips is fuller than the other. Even though they snuck in another $50 charge for god knows what, I feel like the money spent was well worth it.
It is true that the owner is a sex offender, but that has nothing to do with the other artists there. They are great and they are only trying to make a living like everyone else. What the owner did is what the owner did. Don't take it out on the other artists.
