What an incredible an experience to get a tattoo at Higher Ground, got a new tattoo on march 9th by Nick and the way he made my ideas become a reality was just magic, the quality to detail and the skill Nick has is just simply awesome, he is such a quality human being and is always such a pleasure and a lot of fun to see and just yesterday i got another tattoo finished by Remko who is here from the Netherlands who is such a great artist and a great genuine honest guy who i very much enjoy talking with, it is always a pleasure to see him as well, the attention to detail and the quality of work at this tattoo shop just makes dreams a reality. thank you both for everything!

Nick has done both of my tattoos and everytime I leave his shop I am so blown away by how amazing my tattoo looks. His sanitary precautions during covid are also amazing, I physically saw him wipe down everything he and I touched. He changes his gloves frequently and just overall a pleasant experience, I will continue going to nick for all my tattoos! He makes your experience so pleasant and lets you go at your own pace with your pain. I also like how he draws the tattoo in front of you the day of. He's also one of the funniest and kind guys I've ever met! 10/10 recommend Nick and higher ground tattoo.

I found justin off instagram & loved his work, so i decided to have him do a fairly large, stipled piece on my calf. It came out exceeding my expectations! His lines are super fine and clean, and i’ve never had an artist care that much about their client before. He checked in with me a few times to make sure I liked what he was doing & even provided numbing spray. The shop is super clean & he and his brother are quite entertaining! Nick has been amazing. Has done a few tattoos. But the most recent has been the reason I walked into their shop a few years back. He covered up a scar and is no longer visible.
