American Tattoo Society Of Nellis Air Force Base

I love ATS so much! I'm so glad we finally have a tattoo shop on base. I love the entire staff, from the counter to the all the artists, I love the vibes, I even love the merch they sell! I'm on tattoo #2 so far, and I'm massively in love with them both. Mathias knows what he's doing, from sketch to needle. My deathhead moth was a rework of an old tattoo that he gave new life into, and I can't stop showing it off. Ive gotten SO many compliments on my Ghostface, too! Prices are great, the guest artists are great. 💞

Honestly, prepare yourself for paying $$$ for the novelty of getting tattooed on an Air Force base. They have a $100 deposit policy.. which turned into a minimum, and the tattoo I got took all of 20min. The phrase I got shouldn’t even cost the deposit, but they charged me an additional $50.. with a $25 tip too this tattoo was one of my most expensive ones and ironically it’s my smallest one. Big thumbs down.

Jonathon did a great job on a cover-up tattoo for me. Covering up a regretful tribal I had done 15 years ago. I will definitely be going back! Very professional, clean and took the extra time to get it right.

Got tattooed today and got charged $600 for a hour and 15 minute tattoo. Had to email corporate and complain about the over charged. Got a call back and said I'll get 300 dollars back. I've never paid 300 dollars an hour for a tattoo. Completely super expensive. Figured on a military installation they would be fair like all shops I've gone to. 👎

FIRST OFF - my appointment is Friday to get my tattoo. So I have not gotten my piece’s done. So I will add an edit afterwards of everything. But literally the kindest, most welcoming tattoo shop I have ever encountered. Customer service was a 12/10! And I’ve been to many tattoo shops all over the country. The girl at the front desk was so nice and friendly. And the tattoo artist was very inviting and welcoming as well. Definitely recommend them off customer service, hopefully their work matches their customer service level!

Staff was amazing. Very professional, front desk associate Dominique acknowledged me as soon as i came in and was very accommodating to all my concerns. Artist Mathias did my tattoo and was extremely good and patient with me. Kudos to these two for their professionalism, patience and quality work.

I got a rose behind my ear and it came out cute. But if I can rate the customer service a 0 I would the girl in the front was rude it was more like well if you don’t like it you have no choice kind of conversation when I didn’t like the first draw out it was annoying she acted that way initially over the phone too. So annoying. But I like my tattoo.

UPDATE: I just received a phone call from the owner after reading my review. She went above and beyond to make sure my final experience was good. She was was seriously amazing, I updated my review because both my tattoo and sisters tattoo was great, along with the amazing customer service from the owner.

I finally got my first tattoo last week and was very fortunate that I could choose American Tattoo Society at Nellis AFB. Everyone there is friendly and had no problems with all my questions since this was my first one. Mathias Moretti did a fantastic job and I got the exact tattoo I wanted and I am very happy with my dragonfly and watercolors. When I decide on another one, it took me 18 months to find this one, I will go back. Being on Nellis AFB, this shop is set to higher standards. Thank you ATS@NELLIS.

Got tattooed by Zac today at ATS on Nellis. Artist was amazing and the shop is super clean. Love my new ink and can't wait to make a second appointment with them!
