Gaia is an absolutely outstanding artist. I will for sure be coming back. Not only did she draw and ink a beautiful tattoo, but as a person she is a blast to be around.

Originally I was very excited to get work done.

Requested a consultation-

Which originally was only going to take less than a month;

But after a week I was notified the original time I wanted was now not available and the closest they had was two months out.

I waited the two months and the artist was amazingly kind and helpful on correcting me of the misgivings I had on what the design I was looking for was actually called and in general was just a very pleasant experience. You could tell they had a passion for their job.

But they wanted reference pictures and a bit more detail and were going to talk about the studio to different artists and they may reference me to one of them, since the subject matter wasn't in their expertise and I didn't have a full idea of what I wanted in detail.

So through E-mail I sent art styles I enjoyed, references and another idea for the piece I had that may of been easier.

Fast forward nearly a week and I received an email wishing me luck on getting the piece done and that they would not be able to do it.

No references inwards, no further discussion on it. Just kind of a disheartening good luck finding someone, after several months of waiting.

Others may have a bit of a better experience, but it was just kind of a let down to be dismissed kind of instantly.

Marked Studios is hands down the best tattoo place I've found in the Reno area!!

Artist Gaia is truly gifted with creative ideas for design and flow. This is the biggest piece I've had done, and Gaia has been nothing but professional and focused. Her ability to incorporate new ink with the existing ink I had is seemless! The only downside is that she's too good, and I have to wait longer than I had hoped to finish my sleeve.

I have used Marked Studios several times and I could not think of a better place to get your tattoo done. The process is super easy and straight forward. If you are uncertain about what artist would best suit your design then they will help you find someone. I knew I wanted Callista to work on my newest piece and I made the best decision I possibly could. She is very professional and worked through the entire design process with me and any edits I wanted to make she handled and understood that this was important to me and wanted me to make it perfect. She knocked it out of the park.

The rest of the shop was incredibly friendly and always polite. Gia and I enjoyed some riffing back and forth whenever there was a break in the session. I felt like I was hanging out with some old friends every time I went it.

Again, could not recommend a better place. You truly get what you pay for. Thanks again everyone.

I've worked with Gaia for two large pieces, a thigh piece and arm sleeve. Both tattoos exceeded expectation. This is especially true for the arm sleeve as it incorporated two existing tattoos. I cannot recommend Gaia enough and hope to work with her again.

My wife and I were going to use them for our tattoos. She told them her only available day was Saturday, and they scheduled her with an artist who doesn’t work Saturday. Then, after asking me for info, it took a month to respond (they forgot to respond to the email). Human error, I forgave these issues. Then, on the day of my scheduled consultation call, they just didn’t call me. I again had to email to remind them I exist. They called the next day, and again apologized, but I would not trust them to permanently tattoo me or my wife at this point.

They were very helpful for my first tattoo. Extremely professional and friendly. The tattoo turned out great

Been getting one removed. It's a slower process, but Jamie makes it comfortable and professional. The office is very clean and has a great feel to it.

I love this studio! Jp is an amazing artist. I have endometriosis and stress to my body triggers flare ups. Jp has been incredible understanding and extremely accommodating. Even when I can only do shorter sessions. Which is awesome. They offer tablets to watch movies on and more blankets. I can not stress how nice this is when you are getting such a large piece done that wearing clothes isn't an option. The atmosphere is really good too. I haven't had the best experience with some of my other pieces and the atmosphere, vibes and wonderful artists makes this studio stand above the others. I have other tattoos I want to get and I will have all of them done here. The experience and talent of the artists makes it worth the cost. If I'm going to have something of my body for life I'm willing to pay the extra money to ensure the tattoo I have is an epic piece.

Where do I start? From the receptionist to the tattoo artist to the tattoo itself, this place is absolutely fantastic. Booking the consultation and making the appointment was incredibly easy and hassle free. Then came Callie, and she was amazing. The design she came up with was better than I could have ever imagined and I am highly satisfied!! Definitely recommend her for pieces with a lot of detail, or anything your heart desires. Even after, they check in to make sure your piece has healed and are the kindest team. Can’t wait to come back for more!
