Canyon is the man. It's hard to find a tattoo artist that is both an amazing artist, while being professional (on time, communicates effectively, etc).

Canyon checks off all the boxes of what you'd want in a tattoo artist - amazing quality work, creative, consults through the process, is punctual, and communicates fairly and effectively. He's also a super funny/laid back guy and generally makes the tattooing process as enjoyable as possible.

I cannot recommend him enough. Your new ink will certainly draw a lot of positive attention. 10/10

Canyon webb at monochrome tattoo is incredible. He just recently finished my entire sleeve and is working on my girlfriends sleeve as well. I couldnt be more impressed with my sleeve. He works from his own studio which is always super clean and has awesome decorations. The shop always has a very comfortable and welcoming feel to it. Canyons tatttooing skills are known around the world and we are lucky to have him here in reno. He works with what you want but gives you a realistic idea of what it will look like on a 3D surface. He helped me through the entire process with my sleeve and his artistic insights were so helpful and are the reason I have such a dope sleeve. Not only is Canyon a world-class artist, he’s also a down-to-earth, great human being. Both my wife and I have full sleeves from Canyon and we constantly get compliments from random people. His creativity and artistry combined with impeccable precision yields some of the finest work you’re likely to encounter. He also has a very gentle touch that results in quick and easy healing. (I know everybody heals differently, but I truly believe it’s related to Canyon’s finesse). Simply put, I cannot recommend Canyon enough. I love Canyon and his new shop. It is a clean and private. I love the privacy of his new shop and Canyon always makes me feel welcome and comfortable throughout my appointment. We are working on a really large leg piece and I am constantly getting compliments on it even though its not done yet. His work is great and I would recommend him to anyone!

I originally found Canyon Webb browsing for tattoo ideas on Pinterest, I absolutely loved his work. Coincidentally he was in Reno, which isn't too far from me, so I went ahead and booked an appointment. My first few sessions were at the shop when he was in midtown, he has since opened a private studio off Plumb. I visited the shop last week to get more work done and I absolutely love the new space. It is very nicely decorated and super clean. It is much bigger than the old space and I love the privacy; I don't have the highest threshold for pain so its nice to be able to cry in private. As for the arm sleeve Canyon is working on, it is incredible. When I first came to him I was so nervous and sorta scattered but had this beautifully organized list that honestly just made it more confusing but somehow he always knows exactly what I want. I really wanted something with different textures but had elements of gardening; he nails it every time. The process of designing the tattoo is by far the best part and I have loved watching my sleeve transform over time as new pieces are added. Anytime we start something he always traces the shape of my body and muscles to ensure the tattoo actually moves with me, it is so fascinating. I think this is something that really sets him apart from other tattoo artists. It fully is a custom experience and you are walking away with a piece of art designed specifically for you and your body. I get so many compliments on my sleeve. Lastly, I do have to agree with other reviewers, Canyon is insanely quick. He has been tattooing for two decades so he is efficient. I fully recommend Canyon Webb at Monochrome to anyone wanting a tattoo.

As a long time coworker and client of canyons I can’t express how much I love this private space! The studio is perfect. It’s private, immaculately clean, and every piece on the walls strikes you with inspiration.

Canyon’s honest and straight forward approach to tattooing is everything great about art. The tattoos are visually astonishing. They are a distillation if a lifetime of an amazingly accomplished artist.
