Vital Ink Tattoo

I keep coming back here, I've been here three times, each with different friends. I came here once with my friend for her first tattoo and then just recently I came for my second ear piercing in my lobe, and I just got matching tattoos with my other friend. Each time I came I had a different person helping me but everyone who has helped me has been fantastic. The tattoo I got was just a bit of line work but it was effortless and my friend and I were both very comfortable the entire time. Our tattoos are pretty new but we haven't experienced any itchyness, pain, or irritation, the process was very sanitary. We were also provided with water and snacks which was greatly appreciated. I loved it here and would definitely come back again

This shop was hopping and once you walk in you realize why. The shop was bright, welcoming, and comfortable. The piercer is honest and straightforward which I'm sure is why he is so busy. I will definitely be returning there for future piercings, and I will be recommending them to friends and family as well.

I’ve been pierced by Chris multiple times over the past five years, and have always had great experiences. Unfortunately, the experience I had yesterday left both myself and my friend feeling deeply uncomfortable, and neither of us will be returning.

Yesterday I accompanied my friend while she was getting her ears pierced. During her appointment, Chris made multiple comments that made us incredibly uncomfortable–saying that the earrings I was wearing made him want to “tie me up”, hitting on my friend by profusely calling her “beautiful” and “gorgeous”, and joking that his job was so difficult because he sees so many “irresistible women” on a daily basis. Both of us were visibly uncomfortable, yet he continued to make these comments.

TLDR: If you’re a woman, you may want to find a different piercer.

Adding a review because I saw Eliza’s comment and was hoping my experience was a one off thing but it seems this is a continuous problem. I brought one friend here and had a great experience with Chris doing a septum piercing. He was very skilled, reassuring and I brought two more friends a month later. During my appointment with these friends he constantly flirted and made uncomfortable comments to “I shouldn’t say that, my wife doesn’t like when I flirt with my clients” to two 18 yr old girls. I understand an “edgy” joke gone wrong and making people a little uncomfortable but it was constant during the appt. Only leaving three stars cuz I don’t want to tear down the whole shop, everyone else I’ve met there but him seems great! But the piercer, Chris is not one I would recommend to any college girls/women around. I will not be returning for myself or recommending the piercing services to friends.

Chris is absolutely amazing! He made me feel so comfortable and took great care of me. Everyone at Vital Ink was so welcoming and I can’t wait to go back!

I got a tattoo from Danny and 3 piercings from Chris all of which turned out amazing! Everyone is super friendly and they do everything they can to make sure you’re comfortable and leave happy!! Highly recommend

Chris is great!! He is very personable, puts you at ease, makes sure all your questions have been addressed, and you've answered all of his. You fill out a bit of standard paperwork, and then finally the finely finessed precision puncturing process proceeds.

His passion for the job and commitment to customer service is clear. He wants you to be happy and listed a bunch of things he offers to ensure this, from jewelry exchange to cleaning to what I can only describe as a frequent piercee punch card, but without an actual card. What a neat idea!

I went in for an industrial and septum piercing, and honestly I've been bitten by horseflies that hurt more. I don't know why, but I assume skill factors in. The guy clearly knows his stuff. The shop was clean and felt like a safe environment. I could see the sterilization process occurring as I waited my turn.

I could not be happier and would not hesitate to return to Chris for maintenance or new holes. It is amazing the confidence metal through your body can inspire. It's nice to be who you want to be. I can't stop looking at myself in reflective surfaces. Should put a couple more mirrors in here so I can stare at myself...

Got a tongue piercing from Chris, he’s amazing!! Definitely going back for more piercings.

Both my piercer (Chris) and my tattoo artist (Tom) are out of Vital Ink and they are both absolutely incredible at what they do. I’ve had two larger pieces done by Tom and three piercings done by Chris and I can say without a doubt they are the best in the business (and incredible people in general). I have started to drag my friends in as well, and have 0 intent on stopping.
