White Mountain Tattoo and Body Piercing Studio

I received a memorial tattoo, to honor my brother, which was designed by me and conveyed to my artist, Jess. She took my idea and created such a beautiful piece of art that I had not even envisioned. She was professional, warm and made me feel comfortable. I had never gotten a tattoo before and this one was pretty large for a first timer. But she made me feel so at ease that I was relaxed the whole time. The studio was clean and the staff was super friendly. I highly recommend White Mountain Tattoo and Jess!

Daughter had called a couple of days prior to us actually going, as it was an 1.5 hour drive, and she was under the impression that the facility took walk in.
When we arrived, we were sadly informed that they had nothing available for the day.
After we explained the drive, the call...there was a young lady apprentice who was kind enough to inform us that if we wouldn't mind waiting, she would help us.
This young lady finished a tattoo of my daughter's with a beautiful mountain scene, it looks as if you are actually looking at a picture.
She started to do turtles for me, but her husband wound up finishing, as it was and is my last tattoo, and I was very anxious.
All in all, I would highly recommend this establishment

I’ve gone to white mountain tattoo two times. My first experience there was fine, Albie is a funny guy. For my second tattoo, I went into the shop to make the appointment, I had The girl at the front desk photocopy the drawing that I wanted. When I went for my appointment instead of re working the drawing to make it more suitable to be tattooed, Steve decided he was going to just trace two other designs and make me pick between them. I was too afraid to speak up for myself and chose between one of the traced stencils. I’m really bummed that he was too lazy to try and even re work it- I literally made the appointment like three weeks in advance. It wasn’t like it was a a walk in. That’s just the first issue- the second was that Steve is not outwardly friendly at all. Steve never really spoke he just sang along to his deafeningly loud music while his wife hovered over us. Extremely uncomfortable to say the least. Adam was actually more friendly to me then Steve. But I don’t even know if Adam is there still. And lastly, if you follow them on Instagram you would see just how terrible the line work these guys are putting on peoples skin. The tattoo quality is just non-existent. If you want a tattoo in the Conway area that will look good and last, go anywhere else- go to The Darking Grey or Ampersand Tattoo. If you can travel I recommend going anywhere but white mountain. I do not recommend white mountain at all. I’ve been tattooed plenty since and have never had such a terrible experience. Midnight Moon and Hobo’s Rochester were great and I also recommend them!

Steve was phenomenal! Very light handed, this tattoo was painless and I absolutely loved his design! Will definitely be going back for him to do more work.

I've been tattooed in many places in both NY and Florida and White Mountain Tattoo is by far the best. Very clean and well kept. You can tell they invest in their shop and pride themselves in the way it looks. I'm currently having Albie "sleeve" my right arm and it is by far the best work on my body. I highly recommend them, whether you are getting your typical "Mom" tattoo or looking to cover your entire body in art. This is the place to go. I do not work there or have any ties with them, I'm just trying to help people skip the shitty shops and go straight to a legit Tattoo shop.

This was my first time. The staff were friendly and professional. Very eclectic. Lots of fun meeting this group. Tattoos were awesome , well done. Can't wait to go back!!!

I got my tattoo from Jonny Bullet and it came out awesome. I sent him some pictures of what I wanted and was very happy with the outcome. The place was Very clean and he was very nice.I will be going back .

Well although they seem like a clean and professional place, my experience was far from satisfactory.
I took my daughter for her 16th birthday, to get any piercing she chose, above the neck of course. She chose to get a double conch piercing. Not only did they threaten to not let her get it done because of her "indecisiveness" but also told her she was basically a bad kid for not wanting to get what I thought she should. I wasn't upset she didn't want her nose done, I just suggested it. Then the women at the front desk said "If you're going to be a brat we won't pierce you at all." First of all, thats my child, don't tell her how she should be behaving towards me. Secondly, she wasn't rude at all.
At this point I was already annoyed with this place. I didn't want to go up to watch her get it done, but I was there to help pick out the jewelry she would put in, She chose a spiral with a captive ball at each end. I asked about the pros and cons of captive rings (spiral ring) compared to just studs. The man there high recommended the spiral because studs were hard to clean and could be covered with skin if you swell after.
All was fine and dandy and my daughter went home happy with her piercing. For a while, she seemed happy with it. She cleaned it everyday, twice a day. Then finally she realized what an idiot this guy was. Did he not realize that she has hair? Her hair CONSTANTLY gets stuck in the spiral, causing her to have to pull and tug to release it. This irritates the piercing making it tender and sensitive, therefore more prone to infection. It's now been two months later and even though it get's better, then of course her hair gets stuck in it once again.
This man should have warned us that if you have thick hair like she does, it WILL get stuck no matter what. I'm unhappy with their judgmental attitudes and clearly their lack of educating the client of what's to come. I was finally starting to open up to the ideas of piercings but this place definitely ruined that.
If you want to be judged and misinformed, this will be the place for you. If not i suggest you steer clear.

Called on a whim and was able to get my two friends in for a piercing. Both complemented the piercers professionalism, cleanliness, and relatablity. I will definitely be back for the next piercing i get.
