Heart & Dagger Tattoo

Wow! The best tattoo shop experience I ever had. So refreshing to go to a shop where everyone is each others' #1 fan and they are genuinely friends! My friend and I so enjoyed the atmosphere, from speaking with Nora at reception to getting tattooed by David Bell, and even chit chatting with the other artists, Bill and Maribeth. David was super easy to work with and he did an AMAZING job on my Darth Vader tattoo. I love the originality that he brought to the piece because I certainly didn't want it to look like every other Star War's fans tattoos! He was so fun, really great getting to talk with him and get to know more about his career.

I will DEFINITELY be returning for more work from David in the future, and even to work with the other artists there, too! Thank you all so much!

Bill did my wrist tattoo and my besties. Both look perfect. He is awesome. Pure entertainment he is while getting tattooed. Hes a great artist n I will def recommend his shop to others and also continue to come here for more tattoos

i have gone here for about two years now and i am blessed to say the work they do here is amazing. i have not only gotten five of my tattoos here but ive also gotten both sides of my nose pierced and my belly button pierced. the workspace is very clean and sanitary, along with very understanding staff members. nick and maribeth, the two apprentices are very helpful when it comes to appointments and advice. and the owner bill always makes sure that you love what you have gotten. i was very nervous today when going in for my tattoo today, due to the fact that i was going to be tattooed by a new artist but also due to the placement of my tattoo which was on my spine. i was asked multiple times if i was doing okay, and if i needed anything. overall my experience here has been wonderful and i would recommend this tattoo shop to all! check them out! they do great work. thanks again bill and all the employees

My best friend from Chicago drove all the way to Jersey and was ranting about how amazing this place
is . We went as walk ins and they accepted us! Billy was our tattoo artist and just kept cracking jokes on us. He was so great and kind to us. Took him maybe less then a hour on each tattoo! I will now recommend this place to everyone and anyone. Thank you guys so much ! I will definitely be back.

My daughter has been wanting her ears pierced for awhile now. We wanted to make sure she was responsible and sure so she’d take care of it. We told her if she got honor roll I would take her. Well when she got honor roll I brought her to heart and dagger based on a recommendation from someone I know in the tattoo industry. They were extremely professional (even when I made a mistake and misheard prices)the shop was clean and Bill made my eleven year old feel at ease. Bill was fantastic! 10 out of 10 would recommend!

I had Dave do my tattoo as a walk in, and he made time for me, EVERYSINGLE PERSON WORKING IN THAT OFFICE IS A DELIGHT! …. Dave went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect from star to finish please he makes sure every detail is spent making the tattoo great, I will DEFINITELY be back to Dave to have him finish my sleeve 10/10 recommended

Went here yesterday with a couple friends to get piercings. Nora at the front was so helpful and really cool. We forgot to get the piercers name but he was great. He made us feel really comfortable and we will 100% be back again. Everything was quick and we all left with piercings we loved. Thank you for such a great experience!

This took me some time to decide to mention this, but it needs to be done for the comfort of other people as well. I used to come here and I thought Jesus and Brett were fantastic artists and professional people to work with. Unfortunately, they both left the shop. I had been coming here for six years. However, I recently saw Bill, the owner, in October who was entirely unprofessional. I decided to go to him because I had a gift card. He showed up over an hour late to our appointment with no design planned and was highly inappropriate while tattooing my skin responding to my thank you with a sly comment saying “you can show me later”. Not to mention I sat there for over two hours before starting. I would recommend other artists here, but if you’re looking for someone to avoid, I would avoid scheduling any appointments with Bill. He’s a creep. Not only was he disrespectful to me, but he’s rude as sin to his employees and apprentices. It was disgusting to see. Best of luck to the other artists in this shop. I would see other artists here if I felt comfortable, but I can confidently say that I will never come back to support this owner after such an awful experience.

We took my daughter to get her nose pierced on Black Friday. I wish I knew the name of the women at the front desk because she was great! Billy did my daughters piercing and it was a perfect first experience for her. Her piercing looks great and she had minimal pain. We will definitely will be back.

My sisters and I had been searching for a reputable piercing place for a bit and so glad we landed here! I got my Monroe repierced, sister 1 - a double forward helix, and sister 2 - conch. Nora at the front desk was lovely and welcoming and Bill, the piercer, was very professional and joined in our ridiculous sister banter. Overall great experience and we will be back. :)
