I had heard excellent things about this place...and am glad I got to find out first hand! Raven did a spectacular job on my first tattoo, was incredibly fair about the price, and made me feel good about the entire process. The shop was clean and there was lots of work available to browse through. I'll most definitely be going back to Raven and Star Tattoo for my second...and third....and fourth....

FANTASTIC work and great group to hang with during the hours I've sat for my tats. Easy going vibe, lots of advice for any questions you have (tattoos, hard rock, Star Wars, food, movies . . .). I would love to hang around with them all day but I want to make room for someone else to get a tat and have some fun. I will be going back again for more ink and good times!

I put $50 down for a tattoo before my military deployment. When I came back from overseas & couldn't do it, the shop begrudgingly refunded my money. I was told how lucky I was to even have my money returned and they didn't have to comply. I suppose this is how they treat all men and women who serve out Country. Unbelievable disrespect.

It is hard to find a shop in ABQ that is honest and clean. Most shops you walk into are sketchy and eager to get you in the chair for your money. Star Tattoo is probably the most professional and respectable places around. Everyone at the shop is incredibly nice and helpful. They are knowledgeable about how well tattoos will look on your body, sometimes functionality doesn’t always coincide with the idea in your head.
I started getting tattooed by Shawn and the experience has been great. He is a fantastic early artist and his future looks very bright. My wife has been getting covered by Gina and all of her ink has healed very well with no scaring.
It is amazing feeling when people ask where you get your tattoos because they look awesome. I love to say from Star Tattoo and not ‘my homie that does it in his kitchen’.

My daughter went in for a tattoo with Patrick on Saturday. This was her first tattoo and she asked me to accompany her to give her my advice. Unfortunately, Patrick was extremely rude and pretty much told me that it was her decision. He had an extremely rude personality and wasn't very welcoming. If he doesn't want to be doing tattoos, he shouldn't be there. He didn't make us feel very welcome and was just really rushed.
