I seriously was so excited to get my tattoo fixed. I had my fried do it when I was 16, so it was pretty much a train wreck. I finally found Shane after years of wanting it fixed. He just went with it and made my idea turn into something so much better than I could have ever thought about. He’s such a great guy, he’s so chill and knowledgeable, even though it was right on my spine, it hardly hurt. He knows what he’s doing and upstate ink definitely deserves more attention than it’s getting. Such a gem right in Ballston Spa.

Chill place great artist! This tattoo was super special to me and I had a vision in my head and shane knocked it out of the park. Definitely a great at understand what i wanted even if it was jumbled this tattoo was on the ribs he was efficient but still got a lot of detail in the tattoo. I won't trust that kind of permanence to anyone but Randy and Shane at Upstate Ink. The quality of their work and their artistic abilities are astounding. Not only did he do a phenomenal job on my tattoo, but he was honest, prepared, professional, and extremely patient with me because I find tattooing to be painful. He listened to what I wanted, made recommendations and explained everything before he started. I love my new tattoo!
