I'd recommend Sol/Hyperion and in fact he did my wife's tattoos. He's easy going and patient. He's an artist and that is why you give him your ideas and he brings it to life. I will also say follow his advice. If he recommends something take it to heart. He's been doing this long enough and only has your best interests in mind.

Attempted to make 2 appointments for 2 pieces, neither of which were large. I tried to schedule the appointments for about two weeks. Zack agreed early on to do them, he could never find the time to text me to give me a date. We had to repeatedly ask for an available date. When he finally gave us a date, I was unable to message him immediately and it took me about a day to message him but that day had already been taken. He assumed we were unable take that day. He didn’t seem too interested in working with us. I wish that he would’ve just said from the beginning that he didn’t want to do it. I wouldn’t of wasted two weeks trying to get in with him. I did email the owner because I thought an owner would care that he had an artist/apprentice that basically brushed off customers and he lost business because of it. But instead of being empathetic when he emailed me back, he was extremely rude and unprofessional. I was not expecting that from someone who owns a business. He basically told me that how I felt didn’t matter and that was that. Never been treated so poorly by a shop in the Buffalo area before. They also charge $100 an hour when most places charge per piece or by day. Especially for an outline and shading and nothing more in one session. We went to Hyperion several years ago for a couple of pieces, and the guy that worked on us was great. He was super nice and he did not charge like that. So we thought we would try going back there again.. but we definitely will never go to Hyperion, nor recommend anyone going there. My Wife is heavily tattooed & is truthful in her experiences & will absolutely not steer any business in their direction. Simply wanted to schedule an appointment, but never could get a date without begging. & an owner who could careless how we felt or our experience. Steven, the owner, was extremely unprofessional.

Sol is the man to have your art work done. My daughter has been going to him for years. She has almost a full arm sleeve Her and I have matching tatts behind our right ear , it can be hard to get a appt with him , but it is soooooo worth it. He does amazing work, he takes his time with the customer to make sure the design is what they want. He makes you feel extremely comfortable. Very friendly. My daughter and I will continue to be loyal to him and only him. Thank You Sol for all the great work you've done for both of us

Steve is an amazing artist, very clean lines and crisps detail. Takes his time and does the tat right. Very affordable and well worth the money, down to earth easy going dude. Will get several more tats in the future from Steve. His shop was super clean and very sterile, this guy is a pro all the way around.
