I don’t write reviews but after my tattoo appointment I just had to. The atmosphere is calming, the shop looks amazing. Tim was my artist and he was incredibly nice. The explanation of the tattoo design was thorough. I’ve been to a few other tattoo shops and this was by far the best experience. I love my tattoo, can’t wait to have my second session. I highly recommend this place.

Body language tattoo shop is THE tattoo shop I always go to and my family goes to. Body language tattoo is the shop I always recommend to anyone and everyone who ask where my work is done.
Everyone in the shop are always welcoming, not one issue when it came to making a appointment, to meeting Nicole or any of the artist there. The transportation isn't bad at all. You get what you pay for and they will never disappoint. Every single one of the artist are amazing talented human beings. I absolutely love the shop and the environment there.

By far one of the best tattoo experiences I've had. The tattoo artists at Body Language Tattoo are exactly that...artists. They are professional, kind, helpful and informative. Rain was my artist and I was so happy with my piece when it was completed (6.5 hours sternum piece straight through) that I teared up because it was 100000% perfect. I'm excited to go back and get more work done!

I first got my tattoo done by Rain and I even went back for 2 more. She's awesome and an amazing artist. She walks you through the whole process and makes you feel comfortable every step of the way.

When I scheduled to get my tattoo, I had an idea of what I want but it wasn't solid. I got to work with Zong and he was able to bring out what I was imagining. The staff is really nice and communicative. The whole experience was great. Definitely recommended, definitely coming back.

I've gotten tattoos at other spots before but Body Language Tattoo by far is my favorite.
I met Nicole a while ago and instantly became a fan of her art and style so it was easy to go when the shop first opened up. I was excited to get my first piece, and super happy with it.
Since then have been going periodically whenever I can spare the money, and happy EVERY time I leave the shop. And in doing so, met a bunch of other great artists as well. They all have their own individual style so any newcomers have a nice selection of the particular type of style they'd like.
Overall, I haven't been anywhere where I've felt more comfortable than at this shop. Highly recommended.

I had Carlos do a tattoo for me. He was very nice and professional, and also informative if I had any questions. Totally satisfied customer and will be returning for sure.
The prices are a bit expensive compared to other shops out of the city, but compared to other NYC shops, they really aren't bad. Besides, you really are getting what you're paying for in terms of artistry, professionalism, and quality.

I'm a darker skinned person and thought some tattoos just wouldn't be possible for me Nasa made the panels/designs come to life with such amazing detail I'm honestly shocked every tattoo she has done for me came out better than what I pictured in my mind when I go to her I ALWAYS know I'm in good hands.
I also regret I didn't find her sooner I honestly wish I could have all my work done by her and this is the highest form of Compliment I could give someone
Tim's work is also amazing and I hope one day soon I'll be able to get someone from him but where he really shines is how he and Nichole set the tone for the shop they're very kind pretty always making sure you're ok and very welcoming that kind of hospitality can't be faked
This combined with the vibe of the shop makes it a must go shop a perfect example of this was I only wanted 1 tattoo at first after my first experience I was hooked and I've been back two more times since.
