Darkwater Tattoo Shop

I will tell you right now, there aren't enough words to express how much I love and adore Ann and her crew. Only once in my life have I ever walked into a piercing/tattoo shop and felt like the people who took care of me actually cared about me or loved their job. I would walk out the second I felt someone with those vibes. Ann, my God, such a beautiful woman, with talented hands, it's no wonder she is so trusted with our bodies, and she succeeds in creating our vision of art on them. Her tattoos are created with the utmost love and care. Thank you so much for everything you do, the things you will do and create in the future, and the forever mark you leave in our hearts and on our bodies!

I got a daith piercing and my friend got a regular lobe piercing when we went our first time and they were wonderful. She gave us lots of advice on not only after care for the piercings, but also looking for a reputable shop and red flags for other piercers. She was also willing to answer questions even after we were finished through facebook, call, etc.. Couldn’t recommended a better place!

She was able to squeeze me in very last minute for a belly button piercing. Everything was new and sterilized and opened in front of me. She made me very comfortable and had me and my sister laughing the whole time. I will 100 percent go back for any piercings in the future!

AMAZING experience.
First, my friend and I came here back in April and she got a couple of tattoos done. It was late so I was unable to get anything but hers came out phenomenal.
Back in April I had gone to a different shop to get a few ear piercings. They had since gotten swollen and I’m not sure if infected or an allergic reaction to the metal (which I have never had an allergic reaction before with my previous jewelry’s so I doubt it was that...)
Anyway, today I decided to take the earrings out but I couldn’t get one of them out because the infection or whatever had swollen up so much... I decided to go to Darkwater since the original shop did not really help me when I went there about a week and a half ago.
The piercer at this shop was absolutely amazing and I am so thankful for her. Although it was painful, she was able to remove the jewelry and give me some tips on cleaning to hopefully reduce the swelling as well as clear up the issue. Unfortunately, if it doesn’t clear up by tomorrow I will have to go to the doctor but I am so thankful that she took the time to assist me with my issue. Especially since it was hers or her shops issue to begin with.

Great place! Went in to get my ear lobes pierced since I hadn’t had earrings in for about 10+ years. The owner, Ann, was honest with me and said my holes would probably open back up easily, and I wouldn’t have to pay for the piercing. They did end up opening and she only charged me for the jewelry. Very friendly and SUPER clean. You can tell they care a lot about hygiene. Everything was cleaned and sterile and there was not a thing that looked out of place. Highly recommend! 10/10.

After a rather traumatizing experience at another place, I was so happy to come here. Ann was great, her ease and professionalism was reassuring, and made me much more comfortable. Her skills are top, so I definitely recommend to anyone looking to get a piercing! The establishment was really nice too, overall 10/10. Thank you for a great experience. :)

Although I didn’t get any work done here (not yet, at least) - I did visit this shop yesterday and spoke with Ann about a piece I wanted to get done. My 5 star review is based purely off of my initial interaction with her. Ann was helpful, upfront, and handed me her honest opinion about what I wanted. I have some pieces done on my body but I don’t think I’ve ever experienced a tattoo artists bold honest opinion. I truly respect you and your establishment for that! I will most definitely be back to work on a piece that makes sense and that will last a lifetime. Thank you again!

After an extensive amount of searching for the right tattoo shop for my first tattoo, I eventually decided on Darkwater Tattoo and I am so glad that I did. The shop is really clean and all the artists are very good. I decided on scheduling my appointment with Ann Palmer and I am just so happy that I did. She did a rose floral tattoo design on the inside of my forearm and completely made me feel at ease. She explained everything thoroughly and let me know to ask as many questions as I wanted. She was a pleasure to work with! Thanks again Ann!

I went here on Sept 18th,2020 for another Tattoo and had a wonderful experience. Ann is an experienced,talented artist, and has evolved over the years to be the best she can be. The shop is immaculate and tidy. Her staff is friendly and attentive and I’ve always trusted her skill.

Ann does a fantastic job with piercings. Looking forward to getting my first tattoo there
