Environment is calm and layed back. Stuff are welcoming and awesome. Thanks Chris, you did a great job! My daughter got a piercing and felt very comfortable. Highly recommend. Very knowledgeable.

The place is a little harder to find since it's located behind the Metro PCS store. It's smaller but clean and open (except for the actual artist's spaces). Went in and was immediately greeted for a free consultation by Carlos, who patiently listened to my idea for my next piece. We were able to schedule an appointment in the next 2 days. On appointment day, the piece he showed me wasn't what I went in thinking of, but was better and made more sense. The final art is beautifully done and I am beyond thrilled with it!!!!!! Carlos is amazing. He has great humor and is incredibly talented. Will definitely be going back for my future inkwork!

These guys are awesome! I have been there numerous times for tattoos and piercings and have brought in 4 new customers from my circle of friends and family. Brandon is a very talented artist ( and I'm extremely critical) that is just laid back enough to put you at ease where you feel comfortable enough to talk to him or just sit back and let him do his thing. His pro folio is awesome and he proves it everytime. Cass is also amazing. I can honestly say that she is probably the cleanest piercers I've ever meet and one of the most knowledgeable as well. They take care of their customers long after the job is done. The pricing is great and the quality of the work is excellent. I have recommended Across The Skin to many people and well continue to do so.

Took my 17 year old daughter in for a cartilage ear pierce. There were plenty of polite folks in there that wanted to please us. Tattoo artist Brandon did the piercing after a very short wait. He had an excellent attitude, and judging by how efficient he was at his art, I would say he has had a lot of practice. He let my daughter approve the mark in the mirror before he needled her ear. Overall, a very good experience in a town with no shortage of options. Check this place out!

I was looking for a shop that does piercings in Asheville. I had received a piercing in previous years, but did not want to use that business again, so of course I did a search via google and "Aacross The Skin Tattoo Shop" was one of my choices. Based on the reviews, this is who I went with. They were excellent, from the initial phone call I made prior to walking in, until they finished my piercings. Everyone was friendly and they made me feel very comfortable. They talked with me about what to expect and the aftercare... and to add to it, they offer aftercare services. Sweet deal. I would definitely recommend them.

Chris was awesome to work with, and Darion was hilarious to be around. They talk you through everything and are amazing people, who take pride in their work and are extremely skilled. I can't recommend them enough, because they did a stellar job! 5/5 stars!

I just went and got my nose pierced today and it was such an amazing experience! The staff were extremely nice and professional! The parlor was clean and sterile. The piercer was extremely nice and hilarious! She helped calmed my nerves and explained the whole process step by step. I would highly recommend going here for piercings and tattoos!

I got a nose piercing here and it was an amazing experience! I'm a bit afraid of needles and the man who pierced my nose talked me through it. He was very friendly and really funny! He offered us to come back anytime for cleaning and support. I highly recommend going here!
