Highly talented artist working in the most sterile shop I’ve ever gotten a tattoo in. More sterile than most doctor offices I’ve been to. Staff is knowledgeable and professional of all things tattoo related. Fair pricing for show piece, award winning tattoos. Look forward to going back to get my next piece.

The absolute best tattoo shop in Asheville. Patrick and Angel are good, honest family people. Very professional. Super clean shop. I always recommend Rising Sparrow to anyone wanting to get a tattoo. Patrick and his staff are extremely talented!

The tattoos done here look awesome, but won’t be getting any from here. Evidently Nikki isn’t about adding her work to someone else’s. Didn’t get any clarity on that even though through messages she was told about the tattoos I’ve already got. She neither expressed any hesitation, nor asked for any pics, but did set-up the consultation……the consultation that is safe to assume there would be discussion about what I told her I wanted before making a date for the job! But no, in under one minute after meeting Nikki, she’s “not about that”. So apparently a consultation doesn’t mean you’ll be getting any tattoos, something Nikki could have just settled over messages before I rearranged my time to meet her out of my way! Then the manager/owner, whoever she said she was, slaughtered any possibility of doing business with another artist recommended by Nikki, when owner/manager said something along the line of, “your impression of what you thought a consultation meant is irrelevant”. Great looking tattoo portfolios, but the worst with customer relations.

I'm lucky to have 2 of the owner's, Patrick Flynn, artworks on my body and have an appointment with one of his coworkers, Nikki, coming up in August. They are professional, consistent, and very clean. I would recommend them to anyone wanting a tattoo whether it be your first or hundredth.

Angel is the most talented microblader in town! Thanks to her I have beautiful and luscious eyebrows that I am OBSESSED with. She answered any questions I had about the process and the place was super clean. I would definitely recommend Angel to anyone looking for fuller eyebrows, correction eyebrows or anything inbetween, you will not regret it!

I recieved my forst tattoo from the about 3 years ago. Good workers and nice people. The tattoo I got however?
By far the worst one on my body.
I've gotten multiple since from Golden Orchid down is SC and it's by far better work. I can sadly say that I will never trust Rising Sparrow to touch me with a needle again. I wish I could get a refund. The 3 starts is thanks to there nice attitudes.

#1: Immediatly, the cleanliness of the studio caught my attention. Beyond that, the vibe was one that is so chill and welcoming.
#2: Patrick's artistic ability is absolutely for real!! He EXCEEDED my expectations (I'm a picky one). This man has honed his skills to perfection 🙌🏼🙌🏼
#3: Not only is he an incredibly talented artist, he is also a SOLID human being!! He and Angel stole my heart with their authenticity and generosity.

Was told by a couple of my friends that these people are rude and Patrick basically wants to choose the idea for your tattoo like it's going on his skin not your's and brags that he was on ink master but keep in mind that he was voted off for going too deep and scarring his customers skin! And doesn't have patience with his customers like a professional artist should. Void this place!

Angel had a very thorough consultation with me and really discussed expectations before, during and after. She explained realistic shapes, tones and expectations. She was very clean and professional. I recommend her because she lived up to my very researched expectations.
Angel is beautiful inside and out and made me feel very comfortable.

From my consultation to the Very last hour of being tattooed by Patrick flynn I was met with professionalism. I never questioned sanitation or safety while being in his chair. He was always zoned into his work and never neglected to follow proper protocol while making sure I was comfortable! and let me tell you, I’ve been tattooed in some janky shops around Asheville and this was NOT one of them. Very clean, professional, with some VERY talented artists. This shop has earned my loyalty!
