I strongly recommend this shop! Amazing customer service and amazing art! I got my first tattoo here 2 days ago. I did not have an appointment so I called and they said they could get me in right away if I was ready and they did! I went in without a photo of what I wanted and the artist drew what I described almost exactly how I wanted it and when I asked for a change he did it perfectly! I’m horrible at describing things so I was very impressed that he got it right the first time. When he put the stencil on I wanted it adjusted a little bit but I wasn’t sure exactly what I thought looked weird about the placement and he could tell by how I was looking at it exactly what I wanted. It was like he could read my mind! He adjusted it once and it was exactly what I wanted. I still don’t even know what I didn’t like about it but he just knew! He was very patient with me when I was nervous and the actual tattooing portion only took about 10 minutes max. They told me exactly how to care for it and answered all of my annoying questions super well and even gave me a small discount since it was my first tattoo and I told them how I was supposed to get it for my birthday at another shop who ended up ignoring my appointment and not letting me reschedule. Amazing staff, amazing artwork, just overall an amazing experience. I plan to come back for future tattoos and piercings and strongly recommend them!

Overkill has amazing artists! Got some work done today and the line work, shading, and overall atmosphere of the place is top notch. The guy up front(Daniel) is awesome and really personable. Everybody else working also takes time to talk to you while you’re getting work done and just makes a real comfortable environment. Walked in and was able to talk through my ideas, get them drawn up, and get inked up all in the same day( not the norm but I got lucky). The pricing is a little higher per hour than other shops but they have won several awards and if you want quality, artistic, and permanent ink on your body to last through the years, you’re gonna have to spend a little coin. Overall a great experience and really happy about the finished product. Would definitely recommend to first timers or seasoned ink lovers. Big shoutout to Vanda!

Went to go get my ears pierced, and was on the fence about getting a septum. The staff was very reassuring and helpful and helped eased my anxiety about getting a piercing. Didn’t get my septum pierced but I definitely plan on returning to get it :) Great vibes, awesome people 10/10

This shop is great, their new artist Kevin does amazing work especially with black an grey. All you have to do is tell him ideas or what you have in mind, and he will help you figure out exactly what you want. This is the only place you should consider in the area.

Sara is amazing! I have gotten 7 piercings from Sara and can't wait to get more. Very professional and knowledgeable! Everyone is super friendly! I highly recommend this shop!!

I’ve gotten a lot of different piercings from a lot of different places and my experience at Overkill has been the best by far. Sara is incredibly knowledgeable and skilled in the art of piercing. Will definitely be back for more!!

I was referred to Overkill by someone whose father had owned a very well-known, well-regarded tattoo parlor in Mooresville, so I knew it had to be great. And it was!

From my first visit where I stopped by to look at portfolios, people were super friendly. Daniel at the front desk and Sara, their piercer, were glad to answer questions and made me feel at home.

After looking at the portfolios, which were all impressive, I really liked Cisco's work and asked if he had a few minutes to talk. I chatted with him about what I wanted and he got it, made it really comfortable to ask questions. I made an appointment for a few weeks later.

I went today and the tattoo came out great. It's a Virgo glyph, symbol for my astrological sign, and I wanted it shaded; small to medium size; on my right forearm where pain would be minimal. Cisco checked all the boxes, printed 3 size samples, had me pick one, and got to work.

Really nice guy and awesome work. :) The shop itself is inviting, clean, set up really well, with good vibes and a nice space.

Excellent experience all around and I will definitely be going back to Cisco for more tattoos.

I don't typically get tattoos, but I wanted to get an initial done on my wrist for my daughter. Let me tell you I wish I had asked the name of the guy that was at the front so I could include him. I went there because the reviews were great and he was so nice and fun over the phone that it made me feel comfortable. He ended up creating the letter for me when I was struggling over font. Cisco did my tattoo and he did a great job and really helped me to feel comfortable as well. If you are some one that typically gets tattoos they offer quality service that you will love and if you are the type that would feel out of your element in a tattoo shop the people there genuinely make you feel at ease.

Piercer and tattoo guys are so awesome and go above and beyond to make sure you have a good experience. Also, their art is 👌 🔥. Thank you!
