As a first timer, I had no idea what to expect. I tried on several Saturdays to get in on their walk in list (a good sign that the list is so long). The lovely team at the desk was rooting for me each time in hopes I could get in. When I finally did they were as excited as I was. David took my loose vision and gave me a unique and meaningful piece. I will be returning for another tattoo in the future. The space is super welcoming, fitting of their name. Thank you for a wonderful experience and for taking good care of this newbie!

The space is great. Lots of art posted everywhere. This place really specializes in the old school style. I have a specific style of tattoo designs that I like that isn't in the old school styling. However, Noah was able to work with me to get the design I wanted. Very talented and upfront with everything that was going on. My tattoo turned out great and will most likely come back for another. Great people.

I got my first tattoo here for my birthday. Everything was alright until I took off the bandage the next day and my tattoo appeared cloudy. After a week I asked the shop and they just kept giving me the response that they didn’t know. I asked if it was a blowout and no one seemed to answer. The shop was very nice and clean though.

I was visiting friends in NC and we decided to get tattoos together. I was very hesitant considering this wasn’t going to be my regular artist but I figured what the hell, how bad can it be?! Well Matt was absolutely amazing. He gave me exactly what I wanted. The shop is clean and well organized. Everyone was friendly and experienced. I would recommend Matt all day long. So much so that I am putting together a rough sketch of a much larger piece and I will be contacting him to see if he’s interested. I have no issues flying down to NC for him. He’s that good! He did my friends tattoo as well and hers was perfect too. We both had a lot of straight lines, dots, ect..all things that look simple but can go very wrong. He did an EXCELLENT job.

We did walk in saturday. My recommendation is get there at least an hour early to opening and bring sunscreen while you wait in line. Paul did amazing. First tattoo and I was pretty nervous. Paul was so chill and reassuring. From my buddies who also got tatted by him, they said he was very light handed compared to other artists they've had. I really couldn't have expected a better first time experience. It sucks I live kind of far away, because I have more tattoo ideas and would love to come back.

My sister and I came to Welcome Tattoo and had a fantastic experience. Highly recommend this shop.
We were told our designs could be done on their walk-in Saturdays. We showed up an hour early and there were already a dozen people waiting ahead of us. The wait was worth it though and you can see why there is such a demand. The shop let us know later in the day that they could get us in and as busy as they are, we never felt rushed.
The staff were very nice, prompt, and accommodating. Both our tattoos were done by Jacob and we couldn't be happier with them. He gave his thoughtful insight on our ideas to keep them as close to what we wanted but also provided creative advice on what would make them look best, and we are glad he did!

Visiting Durham and happened across the shop. I had something in mind for a while, and through some scheduling magic got in to see Jacob on a same day walk in. The shop is great and Jacob was super cool. Very happy with the new installation and my experience getting it.

Welcome Tattoo is the best shop in the triangle as far as I'm concerned. Excellent artists who are safe, consensual, clean, and all around nice people. I have tons of tats, and have gotten several stand alone tattoos from Kohen and am having him complete a leg sleeve for me, and every time I go in it's one of the nicest studio experiences I've had. 5/5
