As seen in the above map, the shop is accessed by turning into the StorageMax parking lot. Once you’ve turned into the parking lot, continue to the right of the StorageMax units to the side parking lot. You’ll see several businesses including us!"

If you want to wait 4 hours to be told your tattoo can be half done or finished for triple the price this place is for you. Took the day off work and waited around for 4 hours to be told he didn't think he had enough time. 0/10 Go to a real shop

Anyone who rates Bold House as less than 5 is wrong. I have been overly satisfied with the work and the service of every member of their team. Pro tip: do not underestimate an apprentice!

I had such a positive experience with Edgar as he completed my piece! He made me feel comfortable and at home, which is something I find very important and haven’t found with any other tattoo artists. He is talented and creates his own amazing work as well. I came to him with a tattoo idea and he followed through completely, keeping conversation and checking in on me throughout the appointment. He is very reasonably priced, and I can’t wait to book with him again in the future!

Mark and Edgar are so incredible. Every time I go in to get a tattoo, they’re both so welcoming and talkative. I’ve gotten 3 pieces done there, all with Mark but I just immediately feel comfortable when I go here. I honestly don’t want to go anywhere else if they’re both options in Raleigh

Came and got matching tattoos with a friend, the place is super nice and super clean, the artists were friendly. We had a semi awkward experience we tried to walk in and was told to come back the next day, we came back the next day after calling like 3 times to try to make it work. When we got there the awesome lady up front took our name and info down…. Unfortunately she forgot to call us back and we came up 2 hours later around 7pm…. The shop closes at 8. It was very clear that the artist didn’t wanna wait around which is understandable but it was a less then 2In tattoo which took less then 10 minutes to apply. It honestly took longer for the drawing then the application we were still done by 8pm on the dot. Now the tattoo was done nicely and again the artist was friendly but I had asked the day prior what the shop minimum was and was told $60 and placement/ size changes that. After getting our tiny tattoos we were charged $120 per person. Again I know tattoos done nicely are pricey but come on now. It wasn’t on a body part that was priced extra and it was under 2inches. I see other people say they have good pricing but I kinda feel like we were over charged due to coming in so late (although it wasn’t our fault) lol overall thought the place is great I would recommend but I personally would not go back!

This is an amazing shop with great artists, I was treated like family and went home with an amazing tattoo I highly recommend this shop to anyone who wants a great tattoo and great experience getting one, I want to thank Edgar for doing amazing work and working with me on my first and second tattoos!

Great atmosphere. Very professional. My experience at this tattoo shop was a 10/10. I was tattooed by Mark and he gave me exactly what I wanted! One of my most perfect tattoos! Definitely recommend.

Walking into First Class was the best thing I could’ve done for myself all year. I was treated with the utmost respect and understanding when I shared my story of a tattoo typo on my back. The (stunningly beautiful) receptionist Soneja made me feel so at home and introduced me to Edgar and Mark. Edgar is my hero, his talent and creative eye really led me through the process of covering up a nine year old (very shameful) mistake. Not only do I feel blessed and beautiful again, I feel like this tattoo experience was a metamorphosis of myself and these people were the conduit for me to honor my personal and mental growth during these unprecedented times. Edgar has come to be my artist of preference over the last two years I’ve been blessed enough to come into contact with him. He has been a great friend and an incredible insight to what it takes to make quality tattoos. He is incredibly knowledgeable and charismatic with every idea I’ve come to him with. He curated an incredibly positive atmosphere wherever he is and just loves his craft. He’s damn good. Go to first class, get tattooed, this shop houses the best of the best.
