I've been here on multiple occasions now, the first piercing I ever got from them was my nipples, they were perfect!! Todd was on point with it, and as gentle as someone could be stabbing you. After I got those I knew I'd be back, and I have been. I don't think I'd go anywhere else. They are good at what they do and the staff is friendly, and the supplies are clean. Thanks guys for what you do!

Got my eyebrow pierced today and I Love it already and the artist was really professional, knowledgeable, and upfront honesty. If you go in there wanting a piercing or jewelry change and they know it’s not in your best interest they will turn you away and also explain kindly the reason XYZ...... They could easily do the Risky piercing and take the money and then blame the customer for a negative experience with healing etc.... 1000% recommend

Was visiting a friend in Wilmington for her birthday, went here because of good reviews and wasn't dissapointed. We were two walk-ins with pretty simple designs and they were very friendly, fast and had the tattoos drawn up and finished in a little under two hours. Everyone was super nice. It was a little bit more expensive than where I'm from but hey tattoo artists gotta eat. Thanks guys.

Very clean establishment. Extremely friendly and very informative staff. I took my daughter to get a piercing and I was very impressed with the overall visit.... everything moved smooth. We felt comfortable and safe.

My fiance and I love coming here. Everyone is here is so nice and relaxed and treats you like family. Every now and again we bring our daughter in and they don't mind one bit as long as she listens and stays where she needs to be. I've gotten two tattoos, one from Noel and one from Jimmy, and they turned out amazing. I've also gotten a few piercings as well that turned out great. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a tattoo or piercing!!

Knew of jade monkey through my awesome piercing experience. My friend and I walked in hoping to plan out our tattoos. Noel took us right away after perfectly designing them; we absolutely love them. Best place in Wilmington for tattoos and piercings.

I got my cartilage pierced here, the studio is very clean and Todd was the one who did my piercing. I was nervous about the experience because this was the first piercing aside from my earlobes, and he comforted me and it was over very quickly. Didn't even hurt!
Overall the process was very fast, the guys were friendly and helpful with all of my questions, and it was also the best deal in Wilmington. I would go there again!

I simmered for a while on whether I wanted to write this review, but I think it should be known. I paid $250 for a tattoo I don't ask for . Wanted two peonies, and I got two heads of cabbage basically.
I went into Jade Monkey to set up an appointment for a tattoo that I've been wanting for a while. The man at the counter was friendly. I spoke with him briefly and showed him the picture of what I wanted. He pointed my into the direction of the artists portfolios. I looked through them and told him the man at the counter who I liked. The artist had available slots, but the man at the counter told me another artist had more experience with floral tattoos (which is what I wanted). I reluctantly agreed, because his work was pretty good too.
I sent the picture to the artist's email, he confirms he received it
Day of the appointment I get there 20 minutes early. End up waiting an additional 45 minutes after the scheduled time before sitting in the chair.
The artist finishes my tattoo, it looks great! I'm stoked because the line work is awesome.
However once I look back at the referenced photo, it wasn't even close to what it was supposed to be.
Only giving two stars, because even though the tattoo is nothing of what I wanted, it's still very beautiful and the line work is great

I have gotten a tattoo done by Jimmy! He’s absolutely amazing & has such beautiful artwork!! I’d seriously consider checking his designs out. Very clean. Great line work. best in Wilmington!! & I just got my Medusa done today as well!! Very clean, very professional, didn’t use a regular pen on my face! Used a toothpick like he’s supposed to. Got it done fast & he’s super funny so you won’t be too distracted on the pain!! I personally have great pain tolerance. It was a breeze! They’re also taking covid-19 precautions very seriously which I respect absolutely so much!! Very professional overall. I’d highly recommend coming here for a tattoo or piercing. Honestly best place in Wilmington apart from Chad Wilson & Chris at Artfuel!! Best two places in town with an amazing crew of very professional work ✨

I’ve heard nothing but good things about this shop and the quality of the tattoos they produce and professionalism. Needless to say I was excited about getting a new tattoo but my experience with them was completely different I’ve been trying to get a quote on some tattoo options for the past week and a half. I’ve send pictures by email as instructed and was told someone will get back to me. Since this day I’ve been getting the run around, I’ve been calling almost every few day for my quote and have gotten the same response from several people “what’s ur name, number and email I will look u up and call you back with quote”. One man even promised to call me back in a few minutes still nothing. Their customer service is horrible at this point I’m looking for other shops to get my tattoos done.
