Tattoo Revival

My sister and I got matching tattoos (her fourth, my first.) Justin Pope gave us a great experience!! He made it easy and fun. Would highly recommend him.

I came here for a walk-in nose piercing and everyone was so kind and welcoming! Jon was friendly, professional, and hospitable throughout my time with him. I even had my dog with me and they welcomed him with open arms (and a few treats, so big points for that).

I just went in to get some jewelry, 'cause the bead fell off my earring. Molly (I heard her called) greeted me with a friendly hello and helped me to find what I needed. She told me that Jon (I think that's the right name) would be happy to switch out the earrings for me as soon as he'd finished with his client. I could see he was just finishing up with someone and was still decked out in gloves and face mask.

He came to get me from the waiting area and was also very friendly and warm. He verified what I was looking for and assured me he could help. I sat on the table, and he put on mask and gloves again and switched out my jewelry. While doing so, he asked about my day, and we had a really nice, genuine conversation. He even sent me home with a couple extra beads, 'cause I told him I'm prone to losing them.

I make such a big deal of the friendliness because I've been in many, many tattoo/piercing shops that were precisely the opposite -- that felt like if you weren't visibly covered in tattoos you weren't cool enough to even come through the doors and they were doing you a favor by allowing you to speak to them. But this place is so welcoming and feels like somewhere anyone can go and be comfortable getting what they want without judgment. There were a couple of young people in there, one getting a service I think, and one accompanying a parent, and everyone seemed right at home.

Amazing experience! I cannot say enough good things about Eric and Tattoo Revival. This was my first tattoo in my 36 years of life and Eric absolutely knocked it out of the park. Will ALWAYS recommend them and I will DEFINITELY be back!

Always come here for my piercings. Love that they use titanium as I have severe allergic reactions to any other metal!

Molly is super cool and has so much experience- she makes piercing a breeze.

Went for a replacement tragus earring and their selection was great! Molly was super sweet and helpful. Their covid practices were also really thorough. Definitely will go back when/if I decide on my next piercing.

I have been in the shop now for a tattoo from Mari, lobe piercings for myself and my 10 year old daughter from Molly and most recently a nostril piercing from Jon. The shop is always extremely friendly, super clean and just a really great environment. I drive up from Greensboro and will absolutely be back!

Great artists, fair prices, amazing atmosphere. What's not to love? Molly Dix is incredibly professional & I wouldn’t go anywhere else for piercing, she pierced my 6 year olds ears & it was a wonderful experience - I felt good knowing that the earrings wouldn’t cause a reaction, and the prices are super fair for the quality of product. Lovey gemstone options. The tattoo crew is also incredible, and I have gotten several pieces from John Slater. I am constantly giving out his card to people who stop me in public to ask about my ink. Again, the costs are super reasonable & you should definitely invest in your tattoo here. I would also say that the artwork there is awesome, like a mini art gallery. They are very supportive of BIPOC & LGBTQ so it’s a super safe place.

I went to Tattoo Revival to have and earring back replaced. It was time for me to size down the back for my upper lobe piercing. I had it pierced on vacation 6 weeks ago and have had it in with no issues since then. I went to Molly on a Saturday and by Monday morning my earring was gone. Luckily it turned up 2 days later. I then noticed that the back Molly gave me was bigger in diameter than the one I went in with. The earring simply wasn’t secure. Molly agreed that the back was bigger than the original but didn’t have one that was smaller and wouldn’t refund my money because “it’s their policy”. Such a poor business practice. Bad vibe all around.

We had a really great experience at Tattoo Revival. Everyone was very laid back and friendly. We had a group of 4, we called the day before we wanted to come and they were able to get us all in and out within about an hour. We are very pleased with the results of all of our tattoos. We would definitely return here!
