Went to Lea at Michael Jay's for my newest tattoo. The appointment took longer than expected because she wanted to make sure she knew exactly what I wanted. My ink is only 4 days old and I've already gotten stopped randomly about thirty times and complimented on it. Her attention to detail is amazing and I would recommend her to anyone wanting to get a detailed tattoo. The shop itself is clean and organized and all the other artists I came in contact with were friendly and professional.

My husband got pierced here this past weekend and we had an awesome experience! The staff was incredibly kind and welcoming, Ashley, the piercer was very knowledgeable, efficient, and fun to talk to. Plus the building theyβre in is GORGEOUSβhands down the nicest tattoo shop Iβve ever been in. Definitely worth the trip and weβll back for all our piercing needs in the future!

I've never had a problem with this place! Always friendly, and tattoo artists are amazing. I've had two different tattoo artists while going to Michael Jay's, and both are fantastic. I've gotten three tattoo's done there, all turned out amazing and I've gotten pierced twice there as well. I highly recommend them! I've never been let down.

I don't even know where to start with this place. I went here a few months back to get some information about a tattoo and they had 2 ladies working in the lobby. They didn't offer to help me, I had to come to them. When I asked them questions, they had no idea on anything I asked. A kindergartener could've told me more about tattoos than they did. Then since they had no idea on any of my questions, they made me book an appointment with an artist. After that, the 2 ladies said they will need a parents signature because I'm under 18 years old and I'm like "I'm not under 18, I'm 25 years old." They both just looked really embarrassed. That is how stupid these people were.
So I came in the day of the appointment and the same 2 ladies were working there and they told me that the artist I had an appointment with called in sick. They had my phone number and didn't even call me to let me know. So I gave them a picture of the tattoo I wanted and they said they'd call me back. Never heard from them. I would avoid this place like the plague. Worst tattoo shop ever and the employees have no clue what is going on. Never had customer service so bad in my entire life.

Currently working on a sleeve with Savanna (who's work is magnificent). The shop, as a whole, radiates a high level of professionalism and hygiene that is rarely seen in the tattoo business. The artists at Michael Jays are strikingly successful at producing a welcoming atmosphere, every session Ive had so far has been nothing less than an enjoyable experience. All of the ladies at Michael Jays are awesome! (including Justin) :D Thank you to everyone at the shop!!

I have gone to this shop at least three times. The first time, I went in to get a tattoo that said strength because at that exact moment my grandpa was in surgery to remove half of his lung. I stated it needed to be moved more because it wasn't even. She told me it was fine and it would change when inked, now I have a crooked tattoo with horrible line work. Another time I went there to get my tounge pierced with my husband the day before our wedding. My husbands was done fine but mine was way to far back and was directed by one of my family members who is a doctor that I should remove it because it cause a lot of damage. I went back a week later and she (I think it was ashley) told me she could redo it for me. I said okay, she then proceeded to pierce my tounge without using a clamp and doing it free handedly. I left with a tounge ring was close to the tip of the tounge on top and far back on the bottom. If I could give them negative stars I would. If anyone needs a piercing or tattoo done this is definitely not the place.
