(originally posted 5/5 stars 3 years ago) Awesome artists, but the people at the front desk were a bit pushy and unprofessional, and honest communication about pricing seemed nonexistent. I was forced to leave a 5 star review in order to get a "free" aftercare product after my tattoo.

Travis did a great job creating my piece. Thanks for your hard work;sorry about the scheduling confusion. A little frustrated that they lost my deposit, forgot that my appointment was today, and then couldn’t find my permission form. I think I was overcharged for my simple black ink word tattoo. $200 on top of my $100 deposit they misplaced.
Travis handled the dilemma kindly while the front desk guy, (Jose?),seemed kinda annoyed. I don’t feel like that the organization issue was my problem. Travis was apologetic about it, and still honored the card he gave me with the appointment reminder.

I had an excellent experience at Grand Avenue Tattoo. I was a little cautious at first about the price and going through with the whole thing but when i saw what Tonii could do I was put completely put at ease. I'm extremely pleased with the work he did on me , thanks Grand Avenue ! two thumbs up

Came into the Hampton Roads tattoo convention looking for a great tattoo and stopped by grand ave tattoo because theirs look the best out of all the booths I visited. Got my forearm done by Tony and it was better than expected. I look forward to my next tattoos from Grand ave.
