I had an excellent experience working with Amarok. They were quick to schedule a consultation and Michaela was amazing to work with. It was my first tattoo so I was nervous about the process. Michaela made the entire thing super comfortable and honestly a ton of fun. Will definitely be going back for more work from them!

Izzy was awesome. Not only is the tattoo she did for me the best one I've gotten in fargo but she made the whole experience extremely comfortable. I am obsessed with this tattoo and HIGHLY recommend this shop and Izzy in particular.

I recently went here for a small piece and got it done by Izzy! She was amazing!! Super sweet, down to earth and gentle!! She was awesome to work with and totally worth the 2hr drive!! I def plan to go back for more! Shop was clean and I loved the bright, natural lighting as well!! Friendly atmosphere as well which makes a huge impact! Thanks Izzy for my sweet little banana! First of all, I emailed Amarok asking for a couple different preferred artists, and they never make clear which one it’ll be. It ends up being Michaela, an apprentice (Who I did not asks for.) First red flag. I should have backed out, but they do not refund deposits. I then show up to get my tattoo day of, and she has a stencil of a different tattoo than the one I had sent in the email to Amarok. Second red flag. I tell her about this, and she says “I didn’t see it.” I show her the receipts and the email with the tattoo and she proceeds to tell me she could maybe draw it out but that we wouldn’t have enough time. She seemed extremely annoyed with me. I told her if it’s possible I’d like for her to draw it out, since that was the tattoo I had wanted. She draws it out, immediately puts the stencil on me, and is rushing me to get this tattoo done. Third red flag. I agree that the stencil looks good, and she begins tattooing. I realize something is wrong when the tattoo is done in 5 minutes and has absolutely no shading done. It is just an outline. I overpaid for an outline of a tattoo and will be getting it redone and shaded by someone else. Never again.
