My mom and I both went to see Rodrigo at Below Radar Tattoo for our very first tattoos. We both wanted to get tattoos in memory of my dad, who passed away a little over a year ago. The meaning behind them was very emotional, personal and important to us. He asked that we send him ideas, which we did. He added personal touches to them in order to make them truly special and unique to us and my dad. I asked for a crescent moon and stars with our family saying"I Love you to Papa's Moon and Back". We also sent him a photo of my dad for inspiration. Rodrigo asked how long my dad had rocked the mustache and I told him that he had always had his mustache. He then asked if we should add a mustache to the moon just like my dad's and made sure that the moon's eyes were the same color as my dad's. My mom was unsure of what she wanted for her tattoo. She could only explain to him how much she loved him and how broken she felt without him. She always asked us "If people can die of a broken heart, why was she still here?" He drew up the most BEAUTIFUL tattoo for her. It was absolutely perfect and it brought tears to her eyes instantly ! He really listened to her and did an amazing job capturing her feelings and the emotion behind this tattoo. To top it all off, his rates were super affordable too. I would recommend Below Radar Tattoo to ANYONE and will never be able to thank Rodrigo enough for the thought process, time and work that he did for us!!!

First tattoo I got was here, it was a pretty cool experience. They were fairly friendly, but keep a very laid back atmosphere. Made sure I had food in my tummy before inking me.... and most importantly I love my tattoo!
