Made an appointment with Sadie 5 months ago for a sleeve to be finished that one of the girls saw on TikTok, from a comment on her posts on how I liked her style and lost my original artist, offered to finish it for me when her books opened up. I sent pictures and a description of what I would like with pictures of how my arm currently looked, and she accepted the booking, and scheduled me saying how excited she was about this tattoo. I paid my deposit, the day of my tattoo she reached out to me to reschedule. Honestly red flag but the shop was so well recommended. We rescheduled for a couple weeks out (this Saturday 8/27) only to get a phone call from not the owner or my artist, just someone else in the shop, to say they changed their mind about being able to execute the sleeve. I would have completely understood if she had just said that from the get go and not even accepted my initial appointment because every tattoo artist has their own style they’re comfortable tattooing. But to cancel 4 days beforehand when she had 5 months to consider this piece, I had already missed out on a day of paid work for the first appointment and now second appointment. I wanted to back this tattoo shop so badly because it stands morally for everything I stand for myself but after this whole mess I can’t recommend doing business with them. So heart broken over this whole situation, getting my hopes up for 5 months and then having nothing to show for it. Not even an apology from the actual tattoo artist, I did receive my deposit back but seriously, not even an apology or a conversation with the artist I actually had booked with. So unprofessional.

I got probably the most meaningful tattoo by Sadie, and she killed it. I sent her reference pictures but when I got there, she had my masterpiece drawn up and I loved it so much. All of the humans in the business are so welcoming as well. Well worth the 2 hr drive ❤️

I was tattooed by Slinki as an apprentice and she did a fantastic job! I got a beautiful piece for my son and she did really well with it. The atmosphere of the shop is welcoming and all of the ladies that work here are phenomenal. Will definitely be back!

I’ve been going to Sadie damn near since the day she started tattooing, and it’s for a reason. She is supercalifragilisticexpilaidocious at tattooing. She does better than I expect every single time, and I always walk out of there feeling amazing. Not only from the tattoos Sadie gives me, but the time I get to spend with her. She is an inspiring woman and I am thankful to share these experiences with her.

Avery was the one to do my tattoo! She was amazing and so nice and friendly. I would highly recommend booking her if you want any floral work! The atmosphere at Black Amethyst was very cozy and inviting as well! Perfect place to get your tattoos for sure!
