I went into Atomic Lotus to get a previous tattoo covered up. While I was there I had people making fun of the previous tattoo, calling other people over to look at it, and the people at the front desk telling me they wouldn't be able to help me. Finally, an artist came out to meet with me about what I wanted. My tattoo artist is amazing and I won't go to anyone else. However, if my artist were to have stayed employed at Atomic Lotus I would of been going some where else. I ended up getting a very large piece of a phoenix. The cost of the tattoo to date (I still have 3-4 sessions left) is $2000+. Now keep in mind this is not a small tattoo. However, my back piece cost me $800 and is the same quality. Along with the high price tag was the bad attitudes. I already told you of the first impression of Atomic Lotus. I have never felt welcome in that shop. The female owner is hardly ever friendly, the front receptionists are rude and would rather talk amongst themselves, and don't bother calling. When I first went to go get my tattoo I had to put down a $40.00 deposit. My tattoo artist left and I am not going to get that money back. Also, they do not keep track of your deposit. They tried to make me pay it again and again. Each session I had to bring in my receipts because they have no way of keeping track apparently. Overall, I would never go here for a tattoo again. I am thankful that my artist left and would recommend those that are employed at Atomic Lotus take a step back and remember that the customers always come first. It is a shame this business has been around so long.

LOVED IT! - For our anniversary my wife and I thought we would try something different...why not a tattoo? Upon walking in and seeing the cleanliness of Atomic Lotus I knew right away this was I place I felt comfortable with my wife being in. The talented staff helped us bring our ideas to life right in front of our eyes. This isn't just any tattoo shop, it's a professionally ran family business that I would highly recommend to any friend or family member!

I've been going to this shop for about 3 years now and I wouldn't trust anyone else to tattoo me. Awesome staff and artists. I get compliments on my tattoos almost everywhere i go. I always enjoy my time in the chair and have never had a bad experience. Love this shop!

Efficient service, professional and friendly artists. They stay super busy, so make an appointment and know what you want going in, but they actively found a way to squeeze me in as a walk in. Could have easily told me to come back with an appointment. Very happy with my tattoo.

Very professional, super strict on rules regarding Covid-19 safety measures! Black Diamond Charly did amazing work for me! Bonus: the rapport between the employees felt great, too. I definitely recommend them!

Great atmosphere, very talented artists. If you're looking for a great tattoo, look no further. Dave Ruiz is legit as they come. Would recommend for any and all. 5/5

Got a tattoo from Randy a few weeks ago, stellar experience. I have a few others from different shops, a huge chest piece, a shoulder cap and the back of my calf, so when I say I liked Atomic Lotus the best I mean it.

Know what to expect when you go into a shop. These guys are professionals, and if you show them respect they’ll respect you. Understand their time is money, so even if you get some small Pintrest tatt, yeah it’ll cost more than you think because it’s still their time and materials they could be using on something else, same as any other artist. Don’t be an idiot, call ahead if you think you wanna get that full sleeve done that day and you’ve never been in the shop before.

Like I said, I really enjoyed my experience and Randy is my new go-to artist. Quick, easy, and safe. We started my american traditional leg sleeve and it’s just about done healing, no scabs, color has stayed perfectly, gonna schedule my next one ASAP.

The place is nice and appears to have all the different types of jewelry you could want for a piercing BUT the people are RUDE!!! The guy with the Irish accent ..red headed guy is just extremely mean, short in dealing with customers and has absolutely NO people skills! To top that off their prices are DOUBLE what other shops in the area charge. I decided to spend my money at Big Daddy's and would recommend ANYONE to go there instead.

The man behind the counter was condescending when I went to go get my piece done. I'd never been there before and was naturally nervous because it was my first tattoo and the first shop I've been to. So when I walked in, the man asked what I was here for, and I told him that I wanted to get a tattoo, when he replied "obviously". It was all downhill from there, feeling pressured and belittled by this man about what I wanted on my body was not a great experience, BUT I do have to say, my artist was kind and precise with his work.
SUMMARY: I will not be coming back to Atomic Lotus for future pieces, I respect the artists, but not the atmosphere or treatment from reception.

I've gotten 6 tattoos at Atomic Lotus. This review is NOT a reflection on the artist I used for all 6. However, after watching customers be treated poorly to their faces and even worse behind, I've decided to no longer patronize Atomic Lotus.

To illustrate, the last time I was there (approx. 3 months ago) the red-headed counter person with the English accent (Andy) berated a guy who wanted a cover up but wasn't sure what he wanted. The guy explained that he wanted some suggestions and Andy sighed deeply and told the guy to look at some books. It wasn't that he told the guy to look at books but the way he did it. The guy shook his head and turned around and walked out. When the man left, Andy belittled him in from of the other customers, talking about how 'stupid is that guy...comes to a tattoo shop and doesn't know what he wants and then gets pissed when I tell him to look at books." Unfortunately, I'd witnessed Andy do the same thing on numerous occasions. This just happened to strike me the wrong way.

Getting a tattoo is a nerve-wracking experience as is, but to be treated like an insect on top of that is unacceptable. I just can't continue to support a business that doesn't treat their customers with respect.
