Atomic Lotus Tattoo

Me and my family have gotten several tattoos here over the years. Nothing but amazing things to say about the quality and the people. The review left about them telling a guy to wear a mask makes me respect you guys more. I’m glad you’re taking care of each other and staying safe. Will continue coming back to you guys.

My experience here was excellent. My artist was Sean and I’m beyond impressed with his communication/patience in answering all my questions and love the piece that he completed for me. Every staff member I spoke to was friendly and professional. I’ll be back in the future.

I was tattooed by a wonderful girl named Emma! She did an amazing tattoo that means so much to me! And my boyfriend got some amazing work done here as well! The tattoos are 5 star no doubt! Buttttt the only downside we had on our visit, was as we refer to her “The Mask Nazi”… My boyfriend has glasses, and he didn’t know we had to wear masks anymore because not even hospitals regulate that anymore, so I gave him mine which was a little small and he was having a hard time seeing out of his glasses and was adjusting his mask a lot. The lady who was checking us in, instead of casually telling him to not touch his mask, she rudely told him “Don’t you know this the real world we live in, and this a real virus, that kills real people every day!!!!! If you’re not even able to stop messing with your mask while you’re standing in line getting checked in, are you sure you’re gonna be able to sit through a tattoo with a mask on? Because if you’re not sure you can just go ahead and leave now”… it took every ounce of self respect not to reach over the counter and beat some respect into this lady. I could not believe such a highly rated tattoo shop would hire such rude employees. I would love a chance to be tattooed by my artist again, but not if that means I have to come back to “The Mask Nazi”. She should be fired. Definitely recommend using Instagram to text your artists and find out if they’re working at any other studios or festivals coming up, because Atomic Lotus is just NOT the place to go. I truly hope the people at atomic lotus read this and reprimand her accordingly! Because that behavior and those comments were NOT okay.

I was priced $400 for two small rubber ducky tattoos. Unbelievably high prices!!! No thank you!!

This is my first time having to leave a negative review on a tattoo shop. I was aware that it was going to be a wait as they usually have a good number of walk-ins on Saturday but I was given an ETA for my piece and then proceeded to wait past that only to find out my assigned artist, Sean, had skipped me. I asked the lady at the desk (who was very nice, which is why I am leaving any stars at all) if my ETA had changed, she apologized and said it would be another 15-20 minutes which I was still okay with. When Sean finished the piece he was working on, he came out and called on another person who was supposed to go after me. I overhead the lady at the desk tell him that I was supposed to be next and that he had already skipped over me twice, I saw him shrug at her and walk away. I decided to cancel my session at that moment and I do not plan on coming back. I have had friends come here and have no issues and I have gotten tattoos from a number of studios but this was the worst experience I've ever had.

Emma did an absolutely AMAZING job with my tattoo; I came to her with a laundry list of ideas and the way she made them come together into one, coherent piece is just incredible. Her line work, shading, and coloring is impeccable.

maybe don’t come here if you’re a woman or you want something small. front desk guy has been a jerk every time i’ve been in, and one of the tattoos i’ve gotten here (my first ever) was done quickly and aggressively, it scarred much more and was far more painful than any of my other tattoos due to the force the tattoo artist used. it felt like they thought my tattoos were stupid or boring and they wanted to get me out of their shop. dave ruiz is nice though, he did a good job and was kind to me during. still, i’d recommend finding a different shop if you’re not a man.

I had a great experience here. They were very careful due to the pandemic and took really clever precautions to ensure the health and safety of their customers. The staff was super friendly and my artist was incredible! I had Dave Youbeta do a cover up and it looks so great already, you can’t even tell what was there before. They were able to fit me in for a walk in the same day I wanted to make an appointment. So it was a really great experience!! I will be going back for my next tattoo!!
