Safari Tattoo & Body Piercing

I have used safari piercing several times! I used them for my septum and it is beautiful and my favorite piece on me. it’s not uneven and it healed so well. They also saved my life a couple weeks ago. i got a tragus piercing done by 23rd street body piercing in okc. i trusted them so much i didn’t think to check the length of my jewelry. it was too short. long story short, my piercing started swelling so much it was swallowing the jewelry. i knew i didn’t have the time to drive to okc to have them fix it. so i went into safari to see if they could. they were the sweetest and kindest they could be. they had to cut my jewelry off of me it was too tight to get it off any other way. both of them apologized so much about the bad experience with the piercing, and told me to come in again after a couple days so they could check on it to make sure it was okay! i absolutely love them and they saved me so much. my tragus didn’t turn into a nasty issue like it would have if they hadn’t stepped in and been so great! i cannot recommend them enough.

Love love this place. The owners are very professional. I took my daughter to get her first piercing at this place. And I have to say it was amazing. The place is very clean and very professional. Also I like to point out that it is a woman that does the piercing. So for my daughter and myself to have a women to do the piercings really eases up the uncomfortable feeling. She had walk through each and every step with my daughter explaining her every mood with her which really helped. This place is overall the best place to go for a piercing.

I liked it, now I’m disappointed. I’ve been in this shop twice. I liked it for the spectrum piercings, but even one of those plastic (green) ones broke on me whilst trying to put it in. And now the $16 belly button piercing that I haven’t even had for a month broke and I don’t like starting my morning reattaching a piece of jewelry.

I’ve gotten my tongue & now nose piercings both done here now. The man dud my tongue & his wife my nose, I’ve had ZERO problems with either person or job preformed. Always professional, welcoming & clean! I will forever recommend them & their business.

They are both amazing people. I won’t go to anyone else for jewelry or piercings. Great at their jobs and are happy to answer any and all questions you have. They make me feel super comfortable in their shop, and both have such good hearts. I highly recommend them.

I really don't have enough experience with the buisness to properly provide a detailed review but I went in to get my septum pierced.
I do not recommend you get it done here.
The staff was fine and the jewelry was nice, but she told me she had been piercing for 29 years, and yet blamed my nose for the bad septum piercing.
I do NOT have an unsymmetrical nose nor do I have a bad "sweetspot".
I called another piercer and she confirmed that her technique was bad. Please read reviews before getting your septum done. A well educated piercer can properly give you a septum piercing, and a better one will recommend you not getting one if they cannot do so properly.
I have taken out the piercing and will be going to another place in 3 weeks to get it repierced correctly.

Can not recommend this place enough got a shiny new piercing an I love it. The staff was so friendly an very informative if you want any piercings this is the place to head to.

They are polite and medically equipped for everything.
They do not do tattoos anymore .

I went in to get my nostril pierced a few weeks ago. The owners were nice and everything was done in a professional manner. For this, I'm giving 2 stars.
Now for the negative....
She asked if I planned on keeping a stud or if I was going to change over to a hoop. I told her I will change over to a hoop when the time comes. She stated she would do the piercing in a place where it will be better for a hoop.
I'm so disappointed because I tried a couple of different hoops and the piercing is way too close to the end of my nostril so all the hoops I've tried are way too big and they don't sit right on my nose so I've had to go back to the original stud until I can get an appointment to have a hoop custom sized. Not a good experience!

Going to Safari was a great experience! We had never been before, but we decided to give it a shot because the other reviews were so good. We were not disappointed! The owners are SO nice, and they really took the time to explain everything to us and to make sure we could take care of our piercings without any issues. They said they both used to be nurses which made me much more confident in having them do my piercings. I had several ear piercings done and my sister got her nose pierced. We’re both extremely pleased with them and with the whole experience. We will 100% be going back if we’re ever wanting more and I know I would recommend Safari to anyone looking for a clean, nice place to get pierced. 5 stars, but I would have given 6 if I could.
