Studio Lumos Tattoo

I love the work of all the artists at Studio Lumos but personally got my tattoos from Daniel Stowers. By far my favorite tattoo I’ve ever gotten, he listened so well to my ideas and created one the most beautiful pieces of artwork. I constantly get compliments and can’t wait to continue my sleeve!
The shop is extremely relaxing and all the staff are very kind and welcoming. I highly recommend getting your next piece done at Studio Lumos

David was wonderful from the start of the consultation to the end of the session. I reached out with some ideas but mostly looking for a custom, and he totally delivered. He was honest in his interests and preferred styles and I’m so thankful, easily one of my favorite pieces on my body. He was super patient and had awesome energy, I felt comfortable and enjoyed his conversation and watching him create his art! I’m so appreciative for his time, energy, art and my amazing tattoo. Worth every dang penny.

This was the most light handed yet well saturated color tattoo I’ve ever gotten, I’m so impressed. The studio itself is also freaking gorgeous with such good energy. The heating system works very well lol so no need to layer if you’re coming in the winter! Super cozy, full of art, books, crystals, plants and more! It’s a really stimulating yet soothing environment so there’s a bunch to look at during your session to keep you calm and distracted!

I LOVED the entire experience from David to the studio itself. 1000/10. Also, this was the smoothest healing process I have ever had from any tattoo, everything was so clean and light handed, this piece healed with minimal discomfort and SO fast and every color stayed vibrant and saturated. I cannot recommend this studio and David enough.

I had been searching for months for the right person to do a coverup for me and I found an entire shop of amazing artists at Studio Lumos!!
David reached out for a consultation and after talking to him, I KNEW I was in amazing hands.
My tattoo was in 2 sessions and I now have the most amazing piece of art on my body!!
David was so easy to talk to, communication was top notch, and he has some amazing stories!
I gave partial creative liberties (because I just wanted flowers that wasn’t roses or tulips) and he hit the ball outta the park. The flowers he chose even had sentimental meaning to the whole reason I got the tattoo.

These photos are from 4 months post tattoo session. I’m really sorry to be posting this, but I’m not happy with what happened and how it’s being handled. My entire tattoo is raised and blown out, but the photos don’t even do it justice. My arm feels like braille. I did reach out to the artist, but they’re only offering a free touch up and not a refund. I feel like this tattoo is too angry for a touch up any time soon, and a cover up isn’t in the question because the design was sentimental. I don’t want to cause a big drama, but I wouldn’t recommend this shop. The people are friendly, but now I’m out $150 (tattoo and tip) plus now I want to get it removed which may cost over $200, or just stuck with something that wasn’t what I wanted.

I was super lucky to get in with the owner Samantha! She was absolutely wonderful, I have been following her on Instagram for over a year. I finally got a chance to get in with her and I am extremely happy with the tattoo she created for me. This was my first large tattoo and she was so sweet through the whole thing, she kept checking on me to see if I was okay. That to me is really important. The price was on point for her skills and speed! Hopefully I can get in again soon! ❤️❤️❤️

Daniel is an amazing artist who does fantastic work. He's super friendly and easy going I have had three tattoos done by him and plan on getting several more.

Brooklyn was the sweetest person ever. She was so efficient with our time limitations and really worked to make sure the tattoos were placed right, sized right and looked great. Her work is amazing, both on paper and on your skin. Her light hand made it nearly painless - on my KNEES! Thank you Brooklyn. Also, the studio is a wonderful atmosphere with very very kind people.

Alice did this incredible work on my arm today. I'm happy with every step of the process. I originally reached out to Alice after seeing her work on Instagram. We emailed a few times with ideas for my tattoo and a couple days before my appointment she sent a draft. I was incredibly surprised how closely it matched what I had in mind. Alice was super open to a few tweaks and also guided me in some changes to the design.

Today at the studio I appreciated how bright and relaxing the environment was. The tattoo machine was cordless and SO quiet, which really helped me to relax. It only took Alice about 3 hours to do the whole thing! The detail is incredible, better even than what you see in the pic.

After care made easy with 'second skin' - an airtight, waterproof adhesive bandage (except it's clear and soft and kinda kike Saran wrap) that stays on for about a week.

I highly recommend Alice. You won't be disappointed!!! Pics are design, line work, finished tattoo.

Everyone here is friendly, professional, and so chill. This was the most welcome I felt at any tattoo shop. I got a longsword tattoo from Daniel, and he made my ideal tattoo a reality. I’m returning for the next tatt, and likely more after that. Thank you, Studio Lumos!

Absolutely fantastic experience here! Everyone is super welcoming, easy to work with, and very talented. David N did my tattoo and he absolutely killed it! I love it so much!
